Tom, you could hook up with Paul at Fab Rats and get Dig Doug on his new alignment machine. A good alignment equals a nice drive. Great video, enjoyed watching.
Death wobble can also be from unbalanced tires. There are soo many factors to death wobble. You just have to work thru them one at a time, just as you did. DigDug is looking great
While editing your video, please set or convert your audio to mono. In this video on a headphones, only a left channel is working (and it's not a first time in you video when it's like that, but for the first time for a whole video). PS. I love your builds and videos.
Caster is your friend. I've built street rods with 8 degrees with no problem and on the road for 20 plus years. My 40 Chevy sedan built in 96 has 5 degrees. I had to cut the aftermarket cross member to get it but Its just something you have to learn. If it works it works!
I had to start regularly wearing glasses at 40. Anyone who insults someone for using glasses is a VERY mentally challenged person. Nice video. I enjoyed watching you have fun in your project.
I'm not an expert, but I think the vehicle should be able to not wobble and drive straight even without the steering box. If the steering box is the component holding the wobble forces, I'm afraid it will not last too much.
great stuff as always from Tom . BUT , if you need to wear specticals , its not that you need them its what you bought , spend a few extra bucks on proper mans glasses then you will like to wear them , eyesight is VERY VERY important when driving . and reading and stabbing the steak on the bbrq , you get it , go spend more money on glasses than on shocks .
I never liked wearing glasses... no matter how much money you spend on them. Propper ones are way better than really cheap ones, but I'd always prefered not having to wear them.
If you go by a local's naming logic where they had a cat called Horse and a horse called Mouse given the drill press is a Bauer then surely it should be called Jack.

Paul just set up an alignment system and aligned his firebird . You could make a video together aligning Big Dough 🤷♂️
Big Dough is how much he spent
Big Dough 😂.. stupid auto correct
Not even half a year and Digdug's already back on the dirt!! Can't wait to see the complete version of Digdug and Tom's next project.
Dig Doug has a nice stance, looks cool standing still and on the dunes.
Just awesome to see DigDug back in its natural habitat
Merry Christmas 🙏🏼🎄❄️☃️🇺🇸
This build is on point and clean.
Thanks Thomas.
Happy Holidays 😮
That thing is awesome Tom. I have no idea how people know how to build an entire vehicle! I can do brakes, or spark plugs but that's about it. 🤣
When you pulled out the new drill press, all I could think was, I wonder if Angela knows Tom dreams about Sally? 😂
Death wobble can also be from unbalanced tires. There are soo many factors to death wobble. You just have to work thru them one at a time, just as you did. DigDug is looking great
Great job Tom, Chevy power , have a merry Christmas and a happy new year you and your family!!
It might just be me, but is the audio left-channel only?
Thanks, I thought it was my earphones:)
Definitely
It ain’t you.
You are correct sir. Left only
If you have plug in headphones you can pull it out just a smidgen and it will play through both. Unfortunately mine are Bluetooth.

Should of got one of them fancy drill presses like the one Matt has.. you love that thing
outstanding Work and Great Content

Take Dig Dug to Paul @ Fabrats get him to square and align everything.
Looking forward to finishing the transfer and foul wheel drive 😊
I really enjoy your channel. I like that I can let my kids watch with me and not have to worry about adult content and foul language.
Merry Christmas Peck Brothers 🎄 What you did for your sister was awesome. Thanks for including that family is the most important thing!❤️ 🎄🎅☃️
Owen was really MADMAXing it there with those ski goggles on during the test drive!
Make Stereo Great Again
Merry Christmas!
Looks good and , the stand looks great.
Have fun and happy Holidays !!
Do a collaboration with Fabrats and get Paul to square it up. Love that you made a heavy 4 link so it won't bend so easily.
Exactly, Fab Rats has a shiny new alignment rack. It'd be a perfect opportunity to collaborate.
"Hoarding for the Win!!"😁
Please name the drill press Trevor. 😂😂😂
Nice to meet you at graduation. Hope you and the family had a good day in Idaho.
Looking good
Tires along can cause death wobble so add that to your list
That's what it was on my 1968 Jeepster Commando. Old tires. Put on a new set and it settled right down.
Good work. I didn't notice a panhard rod in the rear. Hope you have one.
It's triangulated, doesn't need a panhard
Great job love the truck 😊
I think the drill press should be named “Lucy” after Lucille Ball because it’s a redhead
I had to start regularly wearing glasses at 40. Anyone who insults someone for using glasses is a VERY mentally challenged person. Nice video. I enjoyed watching you have fun in your project.
Making memories.
Moral of the story. Don't let Tom Tom change your oil, unless you check your drain plug.
It’s left channel only. …now it’s ok. Good job TOM TOM
Hey Tom, Paul Cox just got a brand new alignment rack and hes looking for practice.
Drill press should be called Jack (Bauer)
Merry Christmas Tom
watching that opening clip and it seems like you need to head to Pauls shop an get that alignment done
True. Fab Rats has a shiny new alignment rack. It'd be a perfect opportunity to collaborate.
you need to go visit Paul and use his new alignment machine!!!!
Little Red Drilling Good
The Drill Dug
Maybe Paul Cox will help you square the whole body and suspension up?
You should call it Ruby (Ruby Red)

Your glasses are nothing to be ashamed of. I’ve been wearing them all my life because I suffer from a condition called CSS… can’t see chit
That's great 👍

Rudolph, or dolph the drill press!
If you go by a local's naming logic where they had a cat called Horse and a horse called Mouse given the drill press is a Bauer then surely it should be called Jack.
Audio is only on the left side.
Jack Bauer
Kinda windy though
Appears to be a small hole in the windshield....
intro (hope not the rest of the video) rip to people that deaf left side
Head over to fab rats and have them put it on there new front end machine
Eddy would be an appropriate 😊name.
Name her Jill -
Lil Red
You should take the new motor and sit it on top of the old pole and you don’t have to raise nothing up. Just use the new motor on the old pole press
Dude, when is new paint coming?
Lap belts only ? Really horrible decision Tom really bad stop 1/2 assing things please. Stay safe keep your passengers safe.
Ok grandpa
🤙🏻
All my Bauer stuff is named Eddie
Should have reclaimed that fancy schmancy drill press from Matt.
Instead of naming the drill, I’d suggest you say, “It’s time to drill baby drill,” before you use it.
You call the drill press Cindy because it's red.
Call the new drill press “Bear”. The nickname of Sally Rides sister.
Name the drill press after my old dentist…Phil the Drill.
"Eddie" Eddie Bauer😉
Need to get miss sally back from Matt
First!
Gayyyyy
@@alwaysExploring8431 😆
Name the new drill press Rhonda is my vote
Millie the Drillie ?
What happened to the amazing paint job that was going on dig dug?
Next time something goes wrong with the audio just make it mono; it's much more watchable.
TomTom - really bad sound quality this time...
And way too much music. The perfect amount of music is ZERO.
