I just returned home from a week long vacation in Mexico City. It was one of the most amazing cities I’ve ever visited, so much so that now I’m really considering retiring to Mexico. Not anytime soon but in about seven years. While I LOVED Mexico City, I can’t envision myself living there. Your videos are the only ones I’ve been able to find on TH-cam that extensively cover the “off the beaten path” places in Mexico that never get any attention. The scenery that you show while you’re driving and the glimpses of daily life in these small towns and villages is so very helpful to those if us interested in moving to Mexico….thank you so much and please keep the awesome content coming!

Thursday, August 29, 2024: What a delightful video. My husband Jorge and I visited Villa del Carbón a few months ago - a lovely town. We also visited the pueblo mágico of El Oro (also in the state of México) which is about an hour from Villa del Carbón. We liked El Oro very much. Greetings from Querétaro where we have made our home after moving here from Dallas, Texas. :-) Joseph (Pepe) Quillian

I totally agree with the way you’re traveling through Mexico looking for the place that fits you. To me, so many people pick a place, usually that’s been blown up with a bunch of fluff, and just move there. They fly in, take public transportation to the town, rent an apartment and move in. There is so much to see in Mexico. I put 3300 mikes on a motorcycle, 5000 miles last winter traveling through Mexico, and I feel I just scratched the surface.

If you like green, and you're still looking for a place to settle, consider the Xalapa area. We were just there in April and plan to go back soon. There are 6 pueblos magicos down the spine of those mountains (Naolinco, Coatepec, Xico, Coscomatepec, Orizaba and Cordoba). We hope to check out the Orizaba area on the next trip. But we spent a week in Coatepec and loved it.

I really enjoy your videos. The little towns are the best but with little Spanish it would be very difficult to survive. You for sure can speak and get things done in Spanish. With little Spanish for now I can only go we’re there’s more English and that sucks, want to retire in a beautiful little town no more then over a hr from any international airport but in the higher climate for Cooler weather. I’m started to think you really don’t want to settle down because you like the travel part of it and staying in different places. That town sounds wonderful. Thanks! Stay safe! 🙏🐸. P.S. I hope I don’t sound negative. I wish I had the balls to do to hat your doing.
