He tac has a twenty second cooldown which seems long until you realize that it starts counting down the second you put down the tac. That’s only 10 seconds of no portal at one time.

Scrapping hierlooms completely after theyve been one of the staples in the game since the beginning...just seems honestly incredibly stupid. Especially when the replacement is just lazy. Hopefully they Atleast lower the price dramatically. Games literally just turning into recolor sim.
I’m so sick of the recolour heirlooms like that was 4 legends who could’ve gotten it instead. Also like they should have made the re colours cost a crap ton of legend tokens IFFFFF! you own the default heirloom. For example I have revs heirloom but I hate the banner pose. His recolour has the coolest banner frame

The thing that made the wingman broken imo was that it conveniently had the biggest mag and had 70 bullets off care package, it just had way too much room for error. but now you need the arguably rarest ammo type and parts. thats essentially why people didnt run the havoc pre-nemesis no one had energy ammo in deathboxes and you'd switch in final circle.

@@zack1321Given imo it's been wayyy too many seasons that the Devo hasn't felt viable to use at all, it would be nice to see it get more traction as a weapon to use. Would be likely as annoying to deal with as the Nemesis was on release though ngl if the care package buff goes hard

No more blocking doors with Caustic and Rampart with this legend.
Wattson actually decent counter unless they drop in from the roof, but then that's assuming teams don't adapt and link up nodes between corners in the room.
More easily ash multi snare is S tier vs her because it takes time to teleport and ash can put the snare exactly where you want it and it lasts long until they trip it

I love alter's concept of portals through walls. Like even if they nerf her a lot I will still play her since it seems so fun to just woosh into a room by a random portal. Also the fact you can place it vertically
It seems fun but if they nerf it they could make it like loba so you’re vulnerable for a while after going through or some annoying stuff.
@@Dmacthegoat true but portals even in that state would be better in fights since you have a choice to go through one and you cant cancel loba bracelet. I was thinking about different portal uses and a good one is portaling doors if smn chases you just tp them down.

Had to double check as I remember that POI name before. Breaker Wharf has been a BM POI the entire time yes, buut they moved it to the top right to replace Backup Atmo and its original place at the top left was replaced by Space Port.

I'm really excited for this especially with the changes for Broken Moon also Bobz i also want to point out that the map changes for example Breaker Wharf was already there on the map it was just there at the top left of the map with Dry Gulch and the Core but now they moved it to the top right of the map which used to be where Backup ATMO was at but they removed it completely but the rest are different like with Quarantine Zone, Solor Pods, Hazmat Tunnel, Cliff Side, Space Port, Experimental Labs, and Underpass. I'm excited for how it plays since Broken Moon is not a likable map personally i don't mind it i like all of the maps but i'm interested to see if this update for it will be good like how they did for Storm Point in s19

My interpretation of her perks (idk if they've been fully revealed):
Level 2 Perks will seemingly reduce cooldown for ultimate hence the timer icon over the ult icon, or ping/detect enemies as she uses tactical hence the ping icon over the tactical icon akin to other ping perks.
Level 3 Perks will either increase duration until you can no longer regroup with her ult as shown by the hourglass over ult icon, or you get a decreased tactical cooldown based on the timer icon over her tactical icon.
Based on her abilities, I think the best ones will be her ping/detect Level 2 perk and the decreased tactical cooldown for Level 3. She already gets a fair amount of time to regroup on ultimate, and you don't really need that ultimate every little fight, since you can wait until the key moment to pop it. But her tactical has a 30 second cooldown, which isn't great, but fair enough if you can use perk to reduce it even just by 5 seconds. Maybe you can go for full cooldown reduction build instead to maximize your ability to get in and out of certain situations.
Well I'll be damned, first time I will say this those abilities are f*kin insane, she will be annoying tonplay against for sure.

@@conner-bruinzeel Because, it's the most fun weapon in the game, and it has a great effective range with shattercaps. I would literally run it every game and it doesn't stop being useful till the last few rings, but by then you've normally already peppered everybody in view with a few arrows and nobody wants to peek anymore.
The amount of time you'll think you hear a team outside meanwhile the phased through the wall behind is gonna be so broken(if audio even works)

The tactical looks good, the passive makes no sense, and the ult looks like it has potential but that super long animation to teleport back might hurt it from being really good.
That's cool being stealthy with it with a bow or sniper. But the solo is going to be interesting but might need to be reworked.
What would need to be reworked exactly?

And the abilities I want to know are they getting nerfed or is it just movement and gun play. But I'm going to have to wait and see. But otherwise I am happy that solo is coming back.
@@darkone2114 there will be no changes to abilities and will work exactly the same as in trios, duos, ranked etc. And they'll still use the entire map. It seems like we're only getting world's edge for the rumble so I'm also assuming solos will be only WE too

I compared the new and old broken moon map, and looks like breaker wharf swaped places with backup atmo and in the original breaker wharf's place, theres now the new space port

Not bad for solos but personally I’m not sure how I feel about the extra life. I think they need to make it where you land randomly if you die early. Maybe that will make players less likely to land hot. That extra life will just make the majority of the lobby drop hot.
this mechanic is only for the solo rumble, normal solos will just be one-life. But let's be honest the whole lobby is still gonna hot-drop regardless
Battle sense is good because audio will not help every fight.. So it does make sense :)

Lifeline will be a very good legend for solos
A couple changes he never mentioned:
Skullpiercer has been completely removed (Rip 30-30 and Wingman)
Wingman can no longer equip extended sniper mags
Devotion has a reverse hipfire spread meaning the spread gets smaller the more you shoot
The Longbow's recoil has been reduced
Another gun (most likely the Charge Rifle) will likely be able to equip Turbocharger since it is still in the game but only one gun can equip it (HAVOC).

no, it's a CP weapon which means you can't restock ammo

I noticed that the wingman doesn't have a sniper mag you can no longer take the extended sniper mag with the wingman that's kind of a good balance change but pretty questionable why did you have to remove it but in the end game is going to be a lot hard to reload the ammo reserves and capacity

in terms of reactives yes, in terms of legend skins and other weapon skins I don't think it will
Promenade was deathtrap anyway and alter seems a lot more like a support legend than anything else
alter is a skirmisher, fits the role perfectly! 100% gonna be good for a version of revtane. Like you can pounce a team and all tp back to her portal, only difference is the animation time. Same for her tac, u can just jump a team out of nowhere its brilliant

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t think it’s a good idea to be introducing so many scermishers. Controller and recon are still the smallest classes in the game, and believe me, as an og titanfall 2 lover I love movement and tricks, but it makes it feel like apex is just trying to be titanfall. There are so many cool and unique gimmicks that can be implemented as other classes to make them more interesting instead of just wall and scan..
Also she doesn't fit in the skirmisher class she kind of fits to the assault class because of her passive

90% sure breaker warf is already a poi on broken moon and its place has been swapped with that space port poi, and the second atmostarion got replaced by the moved breaker warf poi.

One and only thing I don't like is the wingman coming out of care package. It deserves to stay there as a permanent care package gun. That thing is broken AF and you cant use AR or LMG against it

man, longbow nerfs are going to make me switch to a sentinel. Also the digithreat was being butchered for multiple seasons, and now it's just gone? just like that? the only good counter to bang smoke. Bang main are either really happy that their smokes became way better, or sad that they cant use it with digithreat to confuse enemies. Either way i liked digithreat, and now i have to be sad without it.
The longbow recoil is buffed to lvl 3 stability so its like it always has a lvl 3 barrel

@MaVrik426 this is incorrect, they've done that with weapons with barrels before BUT the current longbow for the past several seasons has had 0 effect when equipping a barrel stabiliser, I'm not saying it doesn't make a gameplay difference, but that it literally does not even work. I've been pleading for the devs to give the longbow a look at and if seems like they finally have. Wonder if they've given it any dmg buffs or bullet width/velocity buffs its the worst sniper.

Someone said this before, but it just seems like they just keep removing barrel stabilizers from the game.
they're removing longbow barrel but they're reducing the recoil, apparently the recoil will be as if you're using purple barrel anyway. They'll likely leave barrels for the ARs only, same way we only get lasers for SMGs and pistols
@@cammurray255 that's good to hear. But when you remember that smgs used to be able to take barrel stabilizers too it's just like they're trying to completely faze it out. Even LMGs like spitfire and l star have the barrel stabilizers on and off. Not saying it's a bad thing or anything. I'm just not sure where they're trying to go with this.

Why they remove a unique part of the map when there are several parts of the map that are plain copies of each other, don't get that
because the plain copies don't cause gameflow issues. Everything in BM revolved around promenade, whether it's half the lobby hot dropping or mid game rotations, you're forced to go through promenade and there's always 1 or two teams gatekeeping late rotates
