The Ash change is really cool but unfortunately you can only throw her tactical while hipfiring on controller. It's too awkward to press ADS and the tactical button at the same time because I press them with the same finger (index finger). It feels too weird for me to press the left trigger with my middle finger, plus I use my middle finger to press my left back button which is jump for me, so it would literally be impossible for me to ADS, press the tactical and jump at the same time.
I really wish Respawn allowed us more ways to input commands, because Playstation controllers have gyro controls that go completely unused. Would love to be able to flick my controller upwards to jump
I play on PS4 so I would love to see that implemented in-game. I know you can customize gyro controls on Steam on PC

To answer your question about the Crypto perk that became base kit. Now when you throw the drone it will always call out the number of nearby squads. Also, if you look back at the footage, when you throw the drone the banners to display that info so you don't have to be in Drone anymore for that information. It's honestly gonna be SUPER awesome. We Crypto mains are super fucking excited.
The fact that nobody is talking about the crypto changes just shows how much people underestimate him. All of his new perks are amazing. and the constant banner scan even if you're not looking through your drone means you'll never be surprised by a 3rd party again. I honestly thought he was in a pretty good spot, so these buffs just make me happy

No I think he’s not busted his mobile shield is situational, his revive is pretty good but can leave you vulnerable in certain situations, his tactical and ultimate only having one direction of protection is what’s holding him back, a lot of room for counterplay, he’s definitely good but the second worst support character in front of mirage.
As a Newcastle main that buff is fucking ridiculous. Newcastle did rely a lot on wattson before. It's kind of funny they didn't fix what newc needed but they gave him this insane shit instead lol. Like he still needs better castle placement. Fast tac deploy is pretty unnecessary but it does make him easier to play, so kind of lowering the skill floor slightly. But this definitely makes him strong af.

a really good buff. made his entire class and ultimate great. His ult was already strong but all it took was a few nades to flush them out. I wonder if mad maggies riot drill will be destroyed by this too?

If anything, having Q deploy be more reactive now allows more plays, thus raising the skill ceiling.

Hate they took the digi out. Re45 or Mozambique with hammers was my favorite thing this past season. No one expected a pistol through the smoke/gas.

I think it's because the spawn rate for it was bad so hardly anyone would carry it. I'm excited for this season but some changes are just blatantly stupid. I see no reason to remove the digi, even with the amount of scan legends we have. As a caustic main, digi on the Mastiff was GOD TIER while fighting in the gas. That's something they didn't think about huh, caustic gas all over the place. That's what it started really being used for with these perk changes. His 50% larger ult are was HUGE with a digi threat man. That's my opinion
@@KlonopinTheOmen Also Fighting Caustic with digital was huge, it's like they dont even have the data of the game on how often those legends are picked up, look at worlds, almost every team runs Caustic + Bang.
@@KlonopinTheOmenno digi means no shooting from inside of smoke or gas. it's strictly better. that's a bit of a buff for caustic if you manage to get some sneaky gas plays. nobody liked getting shot through smoke/gas walls, completely reasonable to remove it.

EXPLAINING THE NEW CRYPTO STUFF CAUSE I'M A CRYPTO MAIN
[ GENERAL BUFFS ]
- Crypto HAD a perk called "network trafficing" which made it so when he threw his drone out it would tell you how many squads were in a 200m radius of the drone, this is now part of his base kit so he will always have it
-When Crypto throws his drone out all of the banners will change to show how many squads are in a 200m radius even when he is NOT in the drone (this used to only work when he was in drone view)
[ PERK CHANGES ]
- Moved "Network expansion" perk from teir 3 (purple) to tier 2 (blue)
- REMOVED ALL OTHER PERKS
[ 3 NEW PERKS ]
- "Quick Transmition" will make his drone accelerate and decelerate faster (making it easier to control)
- "Satellite Imagry" makes it so when cryptos drone is destroyed he will still be able to see enemies for 1.5 secs (kinda bad in my opinion)
- "Hackathon" this one has two perks, the first one cuts his drone cooldown in half, the second one gives him a pretty big speed boost when he uses his EMP or his drone gets destroyed

To clear up any confusion, the perk that was moved into his base kit (the one that made him say the number of nearby teams out loud on drone deploy) is "Network Traffic". "Network Expansion" was moved to Tier 2
I'm pretty sure his Satellite Imagery perk is going to be a bit better in practice than on paper. It affects ALL scans not just when the drone is destroyed. This means that if an enemy runs indoors you can see them for a short amount of time. If you control the drone you could move it in and out of cover while still highlighting enemies.
Essentially the left side perks are for on your feet drone use while the right side are controlled drone use. When the upgrades used to be EMP and Drone upgrades.
@@snowconebrat7329 I see. It might be good, but a speed boost when you EMP is just gonna be so much better for aggression and running away, which are things he sorely lacks without a co-ordinated team. AND it cuts his drone cooldown in half

That rebuilding doors change with catalyst and the trophy system of Newcastle is crazy, definitely gonna make waves in the meta. I do feel that immediate counter for the catalyst is either alter or Maggie but still, we playin fortnite with the rebuilding of doors 😂😂

That rebuilding door is great but visually stupid 😂. Like how is she rebuilding an actual door? They should have just added some extra goo reinforcement that acted like a door after the buff instead (maybe make the goo look like an actual door). At least that visually makes sense.
SO happy banner animation is removed. Cat rebuilding doors is insane. Newcastle wall feels like a bit much and feels bad for Wattson. Fuse ring console is… interesting. Bh extend duration is new, or old rather lol . New to perks but an old buff. I was hoping to see 99 return but feels pretty good overall. Thanks Dazs!

@@nspyrsuccess Nah, it's fine. It's good that more legends share ability qualities. They're not the same and both are good at different things.
In this case, they're about the same as Ash port is to Wraith's. Not very. Castle can still get ganged by explosives, runs out, you can shoot down the effect, and the ULT doesn't recharge shields. It's possible to make it work, maybe with a lower duration, but ATM, it's a good direction for the ULT because it's a joke without a trophy mechanic lol

crypto has a passive (if you can call it that) that allows him to ping the big banners around the map in drone mode to show how many squads are within roughly minimap range. currently he has a perk that auto pings the number of squads nearby when he throws out his drone, instead of needing pilot the drone to ping. based on what i understand from the video, next update he's gonna get the auto ping the number of nearby squads on drone throw perk baked into his kit.
emp and neurolink (his wallhack through the drone vision) range increase was in lv3 perks but they moved it to lv2, and all the other perks are new. dk how good improved drone handling is, maybe it makes it more maneuverable and harder for people to shoot down, drone scan persists for 1.5 sec probably means the scan stays for 1.5 secs after they leave drone vision range, hackathon looks like the most interesting addition since it cuts your drone cooldown from 40 to 20 secs if it gets destroyed, and the speed boost on emp definitely helps when pushing since you're usually 2 steps behind your team cause you sometimes need to position the drone and drop the emp before you can join the push.
I'm guessing the increased drone handling will be great for starting EMP pushes close to the enemy, as you don't have the bigger EMP, and it allows you to move the drone far enough to stop it from hitting yourself. May be quite strong for close-range, aggressive comps.

@@felipejesus4401 I never needed that. You can use ultimate accelerators and you will have an emp in every fight. The ultimate cooldown perk was meh. The way to go was the drone cooldown and now they made it way better.

Losing the emp CD is a nerf imo, but the overall changes is a buff. I'd rather have more CD than range, but that's just me.
Base kit can see squads. 8:48 look at the banners at the top, can see even not in drone. He'll call it out just by throwing.
Take the speed boost after emp > handling imo
@@Yoru-desu13 the thing is I usually went for drone cooldown anyways. I’ve rarely encounter myself in a situation where I need the EMP and I don’t have it (or have a ult accel). But I encounter myself in a lot of situations where I need my drone and I do not have it. Or I’m going to emp and my drone gets destroyed, now I have to wait 40 seconds… idk, I do not really think the emp cooldown reduction was that necessary.

It's irritating they have removed it It's one of the items that helped level the playing field against bangalore or catalyst's abilities It's only been removed because pro players were whinging about it.
The ringmaster on Fuse is an interesting one. Fuse tends favour zone comps more but then you would have to play a comp that increases his survival. As far as end game legends his is definitely underrated.
I think that's what they were going for with Fuse is to actually plan for end game. his entire kit punishes the end game the most so its actually not a bad perk

Crypto getting SIGNIFICANT buffs is huge. His previous perks were essentially non existent and barely helped. The timing of his perks was really awkward and it made it really challenging to actually get use from his perks. Also being able to see banners without looking into your drone actually acts like a good Crypto passive!

Are the scans not infinite now, did they nerd him!?
@@Smegmadonis the scan is still infinite as long as the enemy stays in the drones scan range. What the perk does, is that when the enemy leaves the scan range, destroys your drone or you call your drone back, the enemy stays scanned for 1.5 seconds afterwards, rather the scan wearing out instantly.
Crypto buff is monumental. Just being able to always see how many squads that are in the area by looking up at the banners is wild. The duration of scanning being 1.5 second, absurd. The speed boost leaving the drone.... Crypto will be played with a lot more by people, and I guarantee you they will be sweaty.
They deleted the ultimate cooldown perk tho so in the end its a nerf to him
The part of the crypto changes you were asking about were in regards to the big banners on the walls around the map that usually display the current champion squad, normally when crypto enters his drone those banners change to show him the current number of squads near him in a radius, so now he can see it even when not in his drone. You can actually see it happen at 8:48 with the banners directly ahead in front of you, but the F1 to upgrade gets in the way a bit

The Crypto note you wrote down was about Crypto being able to see how many squads were in a 200m radius of Crypto when in drone view and looking at banners. So now he doesn't need to use drone to see that. They've made some really good changes to Crypto that steer him away from just being man with gun when drone is destroyed and reducing how long crypto is man with gun when drone is destroyed
If you pick drone recharge rate its a 20 second cooldown for when your drone is destroyed compared to 40 and speed boost to top it off. Crypto also gets the speed boost after activating EMP so these are some amazing Crypto buffs. Double right side is definitely the pick since you want a shorter EMP range to play on the outskirts off and you get a speed boost to capitalise on your damage
Drone handling either means drone speed buff or entering and exiting drone buff and both are amazing

You always want the increase passive/ult range… no reason to pick the other perk.
I think the better handling perk only affects drone acceleration and deceleration speed so it’s useless. Nobody uses the drone to actually fly around and scout
@@PerzyYT You'll want the increased speed to avoid bullets and to pull of an emp quicker. Increased range always just seemed like a nerf to me since you're more likely to stun yourself or teammates

Not much you can really buff there, he is the best duelist in the game with a great team ultimate. He just doesnt fit in current meta

Having a useful sling weapon outside of his ult is kinda cool tho, it could've been basekit tho imo.
They could’ve gave him a perk called split shot were the bullets break apart possibly hitting 2 targets, or my favorite the tranquilizer whistler where it slows the enemy tact sprint for 3 seconds.
The Crypto change is before you could only see the number of squads in the area on Champion Banners WHEN you were in your Drone, now he can see the number of squads in the area on those Champion anytime (so long as his Drone is out). Look at 8:55 & look at the Champion Banner at the top center of the screen, when you throw the Drone it changes to display the number of squads in the area.
the gameing merchant found that the Newcastle wall can still be sky naded tho, so its not completely invulnerable from the front. Still a crazy buff tho
Crypto main. Definately happy with his perk change. Seems like they removed the EMP and Drone cooldown reduction upgrades and in favor of giving crypto better recon abilities and movement when his drone is on recharge . That speed boost makes a big difference because the main issue with Crypto it is so easy to fall behind your teammates when you do a crypto EMP push. yes even tho you did an instant 50 damage its still a 2v3 its still 2 guns vs 3 guns fight and your now running into the fight and every second your not there to help counts. The basekit for his banner pings is really good cause now you can camp in a building and just throw your drone and auto pings banner with out the risk of flying your drone out and helps streamline his gameplay more. Big W buff for crypto giving crypto something when he loses his drone is better than nothing. Crypto is the most useless when his drone is destroyed.

The squad count banners mean that the banners that display the champion around the map will always display how many squads are near when the drone is deployed instead of Having to look at them with neurolink (in the video notice the banner change in the background at 8:47)
When in the drone, the champion banners around the map show the number of squads within the drone's range. Now while playing Crypto he sees that info in the banners even while not in the drone.
I think Bloodhound got hit with a pretty hard nerf. It seems like they won't get to extend their ult when getting knocks... Unless you choose the perk for it.
Octane is going to be insane, - 10 dmg per stim is absolutely crazy, just like he used to be before
Ballistic is going to be nuts you can use an Ar an Smg and also a shotty or a sniper, all fully kitted

Octane already had -10 dmg per stim as a tier 2 perk, this new change is a nerf
it wasn’t -10 buggin it was only 15% less damage from stim

And now you can get to stim - 10 health if you use both perks
Dazs, the bloodhound changes are both a buff and a nerf. They removed the purple perk that reduced tactical cooldown by 5 second (too many scans was too oppressive) and replaced it with that new perk that extends the uptime of the ultimate on knocks. The buff was to the second purple perk, it currently heals 25 HP per knockdown but your footage shows it healing 50 HP per knockdown.
Didn’t his ult get extended by getting knocks before and now it’s a perk that’s kinda a nerf I think

If they remove the knock passive which he has right now in exchange for this perk, he's completely nerfed. Is he really that strong right now?

bloodhound was nerfed to requiring the perk in order to extend the ult now, similar to his ravens giving ult charge before the perk system and they replaced the smaller tac cd upgrade

It looks like the new Sling perks for Ballistic is the same as the rampart mods as far as sights go. ARs and LMGs come with a bruiser, etc. Just no paintballs lol
As for the crypto buff, I think the wording is saying that as you approach other squads or other squads approach you, the drone will update from no enemies in the area to one squad in the area and so on and so forth. Whether it’s stowed or out and active.
I think Cat is back and I couldn't be happier. What they did to this legend was criminal just because of her high pick rate in ALGS. We are not pros, we just wanna have fun she was perfect.
surely octane’s double -5 damage from stim upgrades stack up. that would be increasingly fun just spamming stims

Balistic its one of my main Legends , and i like it this perk , i think its very good , when i have volt riple take and havock , and suitch triple to the 3 weopon to have a chance using long range
it's cool becuase now as we upgrade we are no longer forced to put OP upgradeble guns in the sling like the Havoc or Alternator. Everything gets buffed in the sling with upgrades even without the ultimate. Another cool thing is if Ballistic is respawned and is already upgraded, the player can just dump the primary weapon into the sling and get a fully kitted gun without having to scavenge around for attactments.

Since they removed Digi threat, they need to bring Bangalores smoke to 15 seconds or more. Currently at 11 s because of the DT meta.
It WAS at 18s per smoke. Now that DT is gone, they need to give her SOME smoke back 🏃🏾♀️💨🚀
The digital was the best counter to her smoke.. if that's gone I think they should put seer and bloodhounds scan durations back to more like how they were in s12/13 to add balance
Next season is gonna be Vantage’s 7th season and she’s only ever gotten one change which was a extra bullet to her ult why the hell does she not get any love man 1 change in almost 2 years

As a Crytpo main, it sounds like they gave him a 25% buff to his base scan and EMP range so you can bump it to 50% with perk. Banners are always active for 3rd party awareness and because the EMP is so big now if you use the perk, they gave him a speed boost to push after it explodes, whether your outside or in. I think watson is the only character with a lot of counterplay and respawn is out to get her out of the game.
Every season it feels like ever since watson was released, respawn is trying their best to delete watson without actually deleting her...directly like pylon limit,shield recharge limit, octane can jump over her fance,crpto can destroy everything she does,gibby disrupting her fences, mad maggie drill, valk can fly over her fences, horizon lifting above her fence, and indirectly like bad maps for her with lots of open area with barely any cover and now with legends straight up having on of her thing going for her being put to other legends.
As much as i love playing her, shes really being put down so hard by the devs that at what point does playing her count as torture? They should really rework her, buffing her really wont do anything, even if they made her fence do health 30 health damage(regardless if they have shields or not) or make the enemy also get flashbanged if they get hit by the fence wont really do much. Proplay only makes her kit harder to balance because those people control the balancing of the game more than the players who are just playing for whatever reason :(

I'm not sure if it's still up to date but I remember her being the legend with the highest win rate for the longest time , maybe still is not sure, because a good Watson player is just so impactful and oppressing if played right.
Yeah so this issue is exactly what you explained at the end. One good buff and she is played in all ranked comps, all higher play and anywhere that she can be. That’s not an issue but then that leads to her getting supper nerfed when people start freaking out that “she’s op.” In general they need to lean in somewhere to give Wattson her own identity because it has been taken from her ult twice now. Conduit is Wattson if she was aggressive, and Newcastle has her ult just without shield regen which is often not the upside to it. Although she is a defensive legend, I’d say Wattson is very supportive. That doesn’t mean put her in support role and she has a different kit. I think she should either lean aggressively with her fences (not like a range buff, like maybe her nodes blow up when destroyed by enemies or because there are too many, and let Wattson auto detonate them or something). The other side of this would be supportive-defensive, which would work more toward her gen. She already has extra shield with a perk, so maybe farther ordinance removal range or more things to do for the team. I mean it’s an ult, and it needs an identity other than a better Newcastle wall…

@@zainyousif7563highest win rate overall means nothing to the legend. If 5000 horizons feed face in pubs it will look worse than 50 wattson players winning 8 games in one game.
Horizon will still be a more comfortable legend to play with a bigger potential kit

Conduit needs a big tactical change, it needs to be like how the Medigun works in Team Fortress 2. You must maintain line of sight (with a little wiggle room around corners and doors), you must actively hold the tactical to give sheilds, and you can't shoot while you're healing someone. The fact that Conduit can just give herself and a teammate essentially a free bat instantly through WALLS is ridiculous. In addition you shouldn't be able to use her ultimate indoors, like how Valk cant use her tactical indoors. Its just a one click Wattson nest that fills up an entire room with 200hp per battery.
Conduit is really strong, but an instant shield bat is overestimating the ability then

Relax, buddy, it’s a shield that regenerates at a moderate speed. If you land your head shots, you can still down the person pretty quickly.

Sounds like a skill issue tho they don't need to nerf her or her ult she's balanced especially if someones running disruptor rounds alternator it's a wrap stop asking for nerfs and just improve your gameplay
Why can’t they just make you and your teammates unaffected by emp, that’s all Crypto needs.
Because coordinated teams roll people when there's no team/self effect and there's 0 counter play since emp can go through walls.
@@HighShyGuy420 sure, but the emp area effect is so large, that by the time you can effectively get into the fight with them they have already healed. Unless you just pop it in an already chaotic situation.
@@tevinhicks7285 a coordinated team knows when they opportunities to pop it and push right away, opportunities of which there are plenty of in ranked and competitive in situations where multiple teams are in one POI.

the crypto buff is quite interesting, now the level 3 first upgrade is integrated to his base kit, which is wonderful since originally when crypto doesn't have access to the "big banner", basically his passive (shows how many teams around crypto) would totally be useless.
crypto was too dependent with the drone, and now with his new changes, he will be able to see the team around him without having to use drone, as long as the drone is out, u can see the number of team surround him, ALSO he would say it out how many teams are there

So now it appears Crypto himself can ping the banner to quip about how many squads are near while his drone it out

the ash tac buff will be sick for making her feel less clunky in fights, the upgraded one is pretty obnoxious as well so im pretty excited about the buff. praying for some kind of buff for the ult to this day, maybe giving you the option of not going thru the portal but it still sounds like it could let for some outplays lol
I love bloodhound and Newcastle and these changes make them feel more adjusted to what their role is exactly. Newcastle is suppose to be a castle and now he has a moat of protection, and bloodhound didn’t have the extended duration option he already did but only pls 3sec I think more from the buff time=more aggression.

I came back to the game this season and found out the digi was no longer allowed on smgs, that was upsetting as it was my favorite sight for them. And now that it’s being removed entirely is even more annoying to me

also octanes being able to stim and take absolutely no damage sounds great. Stim does 10 hp, so now we can stim in zone. Really underrated change

I hope cat's missing perk of extending her throw range got rolled into her base kit. Mixed feelings on the digi being removed, it didn't seem all that broken once it was only on shotguns and pistols. Off hand Ash tac is nice to finally have.
Digi clutters the whole loot pool. The majority used it for the re45 n mozam thats it. Pk and mastiff are much better with 1x on close range coz it doesnt cover as much screen as the digi frame. The wingman cant take it coz it would be too op and p20 is most likely a troll weapon so I dont mind the removal of it from the game

7:21 I wish Ash would launch her Qs from her left forearm similar to how Fuse launches his nades so her Q travels faster. Kinda silly looking and a joke to see her Q slowly making its way towards enemies at distance.

Digithreats really helped with my eye sight. I have a disease in my cornea that makes it difficult to see sometimes. The digithreat really helped with my eyesight. So I’m a really disappointed they removed it. Everything else is fine. Though I do think New Castle should not have pylon ability from wattson on its Wall Ultimate.
Bloodhound L3 perk was 25 hp per knock while in the ULT. changed to 50
Newcastle change is INSANE. It also gives me a reason to pick the second perk over rez with a heal.
The wall perk was always better imo. Its way better for the endgame to get a 2min stun + dmg wall than counting on your mates to die for a health regen rez. Its even more useless if you already have a golden knockdown
You missed a huge thing with crypto thats broken. When he deploys his drone all banners display teams near by without having to be in drone.

Ok so the Crypto changes are amazing for two reasons; you moved the best thing that was offered for level 3 shields to 2nd level which is awesome and you removed the upgrades that weren’t too good compared to others for really good options. The neuro link thing is basically like Caustics huff at level 2 which means that you have an improved scanner which can be good and the increased movement speed is particularly important because it’s a huff given to you when your entire kit is destroyed for a duration so this overall is a very good quality of life buff for Crypto and actually offers choices that can be difficult to choose given a team comp which is good. For New Castle, this I believe will completely change the life of Newcastle because his ultimate simple wasn’t strong enough but with this change, he will definitely be one of the strongest legends in the game now as I always knew he could.
Holy shit as a Crypto main I'm genuinely excited for next the season. Those changes are actually good, way better than the original set of perks they first released.

Probably gonna try to main new castle next season, dont think I ever played him, and been playing since season 1, he just never seemed to fit my playstyle, and he always seemed to weak in his abilities because nades made his ult useless, the faster shield seems amazing, definitely gonna be the best legend to counter rushers and 3rd parties that roll in. Makes lifeline seem weak. If a teammate goes down, just pop shield, rez and pull back, then ult against rear cover and lock in. He definitely will feel like the brick wall they originally made him out to be.
when you ult, as ballistic, do the weapons that had digis in s20 get them on them? does wingman get skullpiercer? I know hemlock right now gets boosted loader, so curious how the ult interaction works with some guns
Digi and skull pp are out of the loot pool. Did you even watch the video?
No, they will not be added to the guns. Ballistic can’t get bonuses that aren’t in the loot pool.
Ballistic is interesting for pubs. If you die and get Rez’d, you’ll keep your upgraded sling gun with attachments.
