Okay this may sound dumb is this for beginners , How do you get the X Y grid in the middle , also how do you snap on X Y zero to start your rectangle or maybe my mastercam is set up wrong
Thank you! I learned a lot of new methods and reinforced some others that I learned earlier. I find that I use construction lines and transform tools (i.e. mirror, array, translate) a lot, but then comes the tedious work of clean up with trim tools. The opening model has threaded hole features, but not the closing model of this tutorial. I will look. Any pointing to that solid tool thread feature would be appreciated. Thank you Billy Boyce!! - Jeff
Nice presentation. I don't know about the engineering stuff but i am attracted here about the animation you show in the start (0:19 to 0:20) of the models views. i.e drawing, side view and solid model? how you do that in editing?
Idk if i ended up with a different version or something but whenever I'm in wire frame work space, my top plane "zero" isn't visible (where the rectangle was drawn from) can that toggle on and off and maybe I just need to turn it on? Or is the first placed point automatically made your zero for that plane? Thanks in advance.
Thank you sir for this training I am learning Mastercam and these video’s helps me lot . 👍🏻
Thank you ! Its easy to follow you. Very usefull tutorial

I found "ThreadC" in the c hook folder, but it wouldn't let me open it in Mastercam Design. So I guess that is not it!
I'm a beginner what should i Buy ? A laptop or a desktop computer?
Probably a laptop... but make sure it can run CAD/CAM.
