FREE Mastercam?? That would've been unheard of only a couple of years ago. I guess if it wasn't for Fusion360 this wouldn't be happening. Thanks Titan for the tutorials.
but there is no possible commercial use of it since it can't post g code like fusion which means you can't compare the quality of the codes produced by the software probably just did it for marketing and making people familiar with the interface

Quick tip from someone who runs mastercam everyday. When you input the hole positions using coordinates, learners may benefit from using XYZ. Example, instead of (.15,-.15) it would be (X.15Y-.15). I found that really useful when learning. Also I know it wasnt effecting this video but when creating additional wire frame (the angled lines and rads in middle) it's good practice to lock in 2D rather than 3D so no geometry can snap to a different Z height and mess up your chaining.
@@flr169 he is using the auto cursor features. You can see this menu when creating wireframe at the top of the graphics screen (it's slightly faded until you hover over it). The auto cursor menu let's you select what specific type of feature you want to "snap" to (end point, mid point, arc center...) but there should be a small cog next to that drop down menu where you can set the default features to limit what it automatically tries to find. Thanks a lot @wildin13 Got it to work Funny thing I followed that video step by step and things still didn't work like it did on Titans end For example on his Levels page I have different amount of entities compared to him. @@mikeberlinquette9896 it may depend on the configuration you're using. You can customise default settings quite alot to each user's preferences. He may have different settings to you. Please more mastercam there isnt very many good tutorials on youtube
Im machining automotive glass and i was wondering what kind of tool would you recommend? im stuck and i cannot go any faster then 15.00F
use lubricant like kerosene when cutting glass (or clear mineral oil), tools use diamond tools like PCD (polycrystalline dimanond - £18 per insert with pcd on it) or even MCD (monocrystlline diamond - very expensive £220 per insert with MCD on it) try this website for guidance

Hopefully, Titan will see my comment 😀
Hi Titan, my name is Arief.
I have known this channel since I was in 10th grade until I graduated, now. since then, I started to enter how to learn cad / cam and operate a cnc machine from Titan Of CNC Academy. But, I have some problems. I live in Indonesia, so we use metric measurements. So, do you guys also make drawings that use metrics? and you will also make how to program it on mastercam, can you also enter the metric size?
sorry if my question is too much trouble for you guys. because I really like the world of CNC and cad / cam. and I also want to someday, I want to have a machining-based company like Titan.
And last, love what you guys doing👍👍🤙🤙🔥🔥
Ouuhhhhh.... also all of my friends knew this channel😀😀
Thanks for the great message.
We are posting metric in most of our videos and making metric prints for the Aerospace Academy etc. More later

HI SIR nice to learn new thing from you
Why have we changed the diameter to 0.177?
I see in the setup sheet it is mentioned we will use 0.177" drill but for the tap in the print it says 10-32 which is 0.159"
I am a total newbie and would appreciate any and all help!!
Roll Taps require a larger drill size.
Cant get holes 🕳️ to show like he has. After i enter all positions the only thing that shows when im done is the thin x’s positions look good but no holes. ???? Pls help
