Thank you so much for this video! I am gradually reviving my piano skills with you. I didn't know you can play arpeggio this way. In my music school years I practiced arpeggios based on scales only. You make it so enjoyable!
It is Friday afternoon, and I have now flung my work aside and I'm making a beeline to the piano! I feel like a kid again! Arpeggios made fun...who would ever have believed it? Now, if you can only make practicing minor scales fun...lol.
Been playing for 3 months. I played accordion 45 years ago so right hand feels natural on a keyboard, left is learning to cooperate slowly. I LOVE this. Find it has so many challenges to it. Mesmerizing and beautiful and not a chore to lose time practicing. So glad I found you and your wonderful way of teaching. 😊 Thank you for adding a track, it adds so much more enjoyment and pulls you along to keep playing
I just did a lesson on playing the golden hour, 2 hours ago😄 Never heard the song, don't even think I want to. The way you guys taught it was just amazing 👏 can't wait to incorporate this into my routine. Love from Sout Africa 🇿🇦
It's really hard for a beginner, but even after one session when I tried my best to learn the first half of the video I suddenly improved SO MUCH in understanding of a keyboard and how the melody goes... Thank you for your videos❤❤❤
What a great chord progression. I found it more challenging trying to play all the chords in root position than when I played the chord in its nearest inversion.
I haven't taken any lessons for FORTY-FIVE YEARS! (and I hated them! lol) It was always a constant struggle with my mom - who wanted me to become a classical, concert pianist! (LOL) I knew that was never happening. I wanted to play jazz piano and blues r&b and even Dixieland - but fast forward to YESTERDAY - my wife surprised me with a beautiful Yamaha DGX-670B keyboard w/ 88 weighted keys and so many wondrous capabilities waiting to be discovered - BUT - I am forcing myself to NOT attempt to try to play ANYTHING I remember from way back then! I am essentially starting from scratch to build a new, solid foundation! Once I relearn the basics, I believe I will be able to move a little faster than an outright beginner - but for now, I am still preparing my office for this keyboard and I am mounting a 32" monitor on the wall behind it and will have my laptop and laser printer set off to the side for easy downloading/printing of sheet music! I'm giddy as a schoolboy again! *EDIT* I forgot to mention I'm a brand new subscriber and thank you for having these videos! I can't wait to do some exercises!
Hi Lisa. I recently come across your channel and have subscribed. Watched a few of your videos. Loved them. I want to learn piano but no idea where to start. Do you have complete lesson courses for a complete beginner please? It's always been in my heart to want to play the piano from a very early age. My life's been hectic so never really had the chance to learn. Now I do. I can only afford a 61 keys keyboard. Thank you. Your amazing. 👍👌❤🎹
61 keys is better than zero keys! Keep playing and thanks for being here!!!! (We DO have a complete course and you can try it for free here : www.pianote.com/trial?Instagram&Social&QXFTH)
Hello 👋 I would like to ask you for a request. I just started learning piano and I want to play and sing at the same time. The music I chose is TENNESSEE ORANGE I'm hoping that you can do a video to teach how to play the chords please.😊
Why is the key referred to as C# instead of D-flat? It would seem to be easier to work with the five flats of D-flat instead of the seven sharps of C#.

Very nice playalong! I’m which key are we playin?
Amezing
Can you add which fingers play when you jump the octave?
curious how the D minor can be used and how to use similar tips with chords off the circle of fifths
Can I ask you a question about a tune I heard with extremely sweet harmony perhaps you could tell me what this is?
So beautiful ❤
So pretty!
7:05 👌
Thanku thanku
Thanks lisa
You are my inspiration....

❤❤❤❤
fire exercises. kinda tough to focus with Lisa narrating the entire time, maybe a bit less of that. Super cool nonetheless
