How spooky is this, this guy ( who I thought was from the states) net and started talking about the sun princess, he was also staying in a ocean view so I’d asked him some questions, he asked me some and I said I’d answer when I was on board, he’s not travelling until the end of the year. I sent him a little video after we boarded, yes you’ve guessed it, the same cabin and then when you posted a ( far better) video I sent him your link and then I found out he’s from Newcastle- what are the chances 😮

Thanks for the walk through. I snagged a cove balcony for the September transatlantic - the Sun Princess is the only ship in their fleet to have them. Hoping someone will do a tour of one of those.

we receive an email from Princess asking us to reschedule for later in the year 2024 with upgrade and $500 instead of taking the March 9 trip from BCN to Rome. We declined. There are over 9K people who had cancelled cruises from the first 2 voyages. However there is no guarantee that the reschedule cruise will be a Sun ---not mentioned in the email---it could be on one of their old ships.

Thanks for the review! I am booking a deck 5 oceanview on the Sun, and I'm wondering if the cabins are noisy from the stuff on deck 4? Looks like stuff related to ship operations goes on there. Thanks!
Yes check when you book, some sofa beds are for the 3rd person and in other cabins a Pullman bed is offered. My cabin was for 2 guests so the sofa wasn’t a bed :-)

However, it will not have the electric teapot in it (without a special request). 🙂 I want to thank you again for all your efforts. There have not been much content about the SP so far. There will be various "media people" on the ship soon. I was surprised that they were invited when the ship is not entirely ready.

Yes the bed descends from the ceiling and the sofa becomes another bed too in 3/4 berth cabins and Thankyou

The cabin I was in was really quiet no noise at all even though I was concerned I had the limelight club above my head x it’s a really peaceful deck x
