2023/2024 Ford F350 Platinum 8 foot / Gas / in one of the Grey color schemes is almost impossible to find in the entire country. I think I found 3... Thanks for another informative video.
Paid $64,000 for my 2019 6.7 Lariat Ultimate Package Crewcab. Its litterally one or two options from a limited! Just as powerful and just as good MPG as a 2023. The high output doesn't shine unless you're hauling truly working the truck as a diesel should be overloaded across country especially these days to keep missions as clean as possible! Ive got 141,000 miles of highway and interstate easy miles as I commute and haul RV. What's sad is you have to put in a DCR fuel pump, after market cold side down pipe and a few other things that add up to around $8,000-$10,000 after you've paid the premium for the diesel thats the only sad part with Powerstroke other than that they seem to be very heavy duty built diesels as ive hauled up long hills in 0-120 degrees and she kept on chugging! Alot of plastic on a "SuperDuty" diesel truck! Definitely nowhere near worth that price range especially the newer ones as all my coworkers and friends are telling me they'd rather buy used 2017-2019 with all the aftermarket must-haves on them already which some have stromed past 500,000 already. One friend puts 100,000 a year on a 2019 WT Powerstroke doing HotShot OTR and still going strong! I want to say Man diesel helped Ford with the design... could be wrong in that..
These prices for these diesel trucks have truly gone insane i mean truly the definition of price gouging especially when you have to put $10,000-$15,000 of aftermarket very important parts that Ford knows about some are actually class action lawsuit like the fuel pump which the DCR through S&S Diesel Motorsports will be an iconic pump as i have a degree in mechanical engineering but you also have people like Gale Banks doing awesome things to help with reliability of engine plus other very important drive train issues such as transmission covers, rear end and front end gear covers that help keep things lubricated and cool especially long hauling a 20,000 pound RV cross country i mean those things are like sails then you've got cold side down pipe issue that can come quick and have seen it with some friends hell one of lost there CP4.2 and air conditioning in less than a thousand miles which is rare but point being Ford knows they still have these issues and I don't care if they've already made contracts with Bosch they can back out then litigate as its a faulty part! Watch a TH-cam video on the DCR versus the CP4.2! Trust me they have issues with it in Europe also it's not just American diesel it's just a awful design that fails us at the worse times so we have to pay for fuel treatments that help to lubricate the pump a bit but just dragging out the inevitable is all. We're headed out on a very important business trip and it worries me sick that it's even a possibility that my wife and kids could be stuck on the side of the interstate. Anyway I'm not plugging for S&S or Gail Banks plus SPE they just seem to actually care about whether or not you'll be able to enjoy your extremely overpriced investment as it doesn't cost that much to build that thing hell the 6.7 is built in chihuahua,Mexico for alot less than what we pay for it yet they just refuse to fix these things some i haven't even thought of right this second when they know guys and gals! Look what Cummins and Duramax did with the CP4.2 litterally trashed it then payed for people that want the CP3 put back on for reliability or peace of mind whichever serves you best! I do love my truck and so far has been great and a monster when hauling as I can tell it's designed to do as once I drop that weight on it it just tracks better among gets to Temps that are healthier for the transmission, engine and emissions garbage but id rather my children have a planet than go with the fact it's all made up lol just to have a healthy engine instead of hopefully a healthy child. Which the emissions will stay healthy as long as used as a diesel should be plus they're simple enough that my wife actually helped with cleaning some of the soot out and some shops like the guy in Utah on TH-cam will clean your emissions every 6 months for what seemed a very fair price if I heard correctly! Europe designs there EGRs to just pop off and easily clean in 15 minutes we need to be getting onto our senators and congressman about the emissions as they didn't state in the law they had to be easily and cheaply serviceable BOTH SIDES not just one side of the isle. don't care either as they're out for themselves also I mean they need reliability but we don't?? That's why the Airforce truck everyone sees has stock no emissions yet the average man making a living with his truck pays that much and doesn't need a million miles out of it i mean come on congress and senate it's time to fix those laws NOT the EPA they just enforce them it starts with our congressman and senators as they truly hold the power its actually designed that way so we choose who makes our laws and not one man like a Monarchy or king thats what George Washington wanted us away from thats why presidents aren't supposed to have to much power the people are with who they choose to vote for after looking AT THE FACTS!!! Are those still a real thing lol?? Anyway we've all gotta do our research my fellow diesel heads!
You can take off the 4x4 sticker? I thought they clear coated over it? Getting a new truck without a bed liner is just insane doesn't even matter what truck it is $1,000 to protect the bed of your $50k+ vehicle only makes sense. Can't wait to get my first diesel although it's going to be an older high mileage f350, most likely a 2008 crew cab 6.4L 4x4 with 160k miles. Wish I could find a manual but none of them make sense for me.
IMO the 6.7, as do all diesels, eat up too much payload when fitted in 3/4 tons, best to get the 1 ton or stick to the gasser. If you do lots of stop and go around town, short trips all day and idle the diesel is more likely to have emissions/after treatment system issues vs heavy pulling on the freeway. You know what you are doing day in day out so up to you. If you are regularly pulling 15k plus loads I could see the diesel making more sense. If you are pulling a couple zero turns and a weedwhacker not so much lol. I'm also leery of filling up with in city diesel as it sits in those tanks at the station a heck of alot longer vs truck stops high turnover stations.
Powerstroke is great but have to put $10,000 aftermarket fuel pump DCR,diesel treatment BIWEEKLY,DEF,cold side down pipe plus like the previous comment unless you're hauling or commuting long hauls 24/7 you'll never see it shine especially for the price! They're great but when only used as intended plus weight loss programs are almost non existent plus getting useless as the emissions have gotten very dependable up until around they aren't!
@michaeldempsey6747 I would go gas,I had a landscape business for 12 years and with all the stop and go the diesel wasn't a good option for me.Bit if you will be towing let's say a heavy dump trailer etc go diesel. But my gas motor never disappointed me.Also they were all XL models.
It is hard ( and infuriating) to believe that there is someone who would consider paying that much for a truck but then again there are actually people walking among us that will vote for Kamala Harris and other Demoncrats a few days from now.
From the impression I get and this would be for any make of vehicle, the high trim with all the fancy bells and whistles is where the manufacture makes the most money and expect that would trickle down to the dealership level as well. When one thinks about it, all the major components are the same, the frame, the body, the engine, transmission, axles, tires etc. Even the wheels, sure so they upgrade from one aluminum wheel to another and charge thousands in some cases for the upcharge but yet you still only get 4 wheels. Same with the interior, yes its fancier but they still had to build and install the seats and dash etc into everything from the basement model up to the top trim and these days so much of the so called leather in trucks is just fake crap ( not saying it is in this truck though ). As a GM dealership general manager had pointed out to me some months ago, GM pushes Denali and Denali ultimate's on them and then they are allowed to choose some lower trim models at the dealership level to fill the allowable allocation.
All 1ton trucks should have 5th wheel prep standard
Are you kidding me still 90 k. Thanks for the video.
That truck is sick

Yeah that sticker has got to go. 4x4 was a flex in about 1978😂
The end of the year sale lol 😂
Let the recalls begin!
This one max should be 65k waste of money
75k msrp is reasonable. 65k is what a lariat should be.

That’s a f150 XLT msrp
Or less actually.

The green window sticker means it was special ordered by a customer.
Where are all these 24 trucks going? They're not selling hugely? 25s coming in March ÷/-. Looking for a deal next year!
my payload on 24 350 platium is 3998. but i have the 7.3. spay n liner, moon roof, max recline seats, fx4,.
Why would they get rid of the sonar/camera on the bed in 2025? That’s a brand new feature….
$94,000 is definitely NOT cheap
Got some dents in the bed, how'd the roof of the cab look?
No 5th wheel prep pkg, not loaded.

Nah it’s just a decal.
I have a lawncare business and I'm looking to upgrade to an f250 next year from my f150 5.0 should I go with the 7.3/6.8 or the 6.7?

Get the cheapest 3/4 ton gas truck you can find
@michaeldempsey6747 I would go gas,I had a landscape business for 12 years and with all the stop and go the diesel wasn't a good option for me.Bit if you will be towing let's say a heavy dump trailer etc go diesel. But my gas motor never disappointed me.Also they were all XL models.

Insanely expensive. I sure wish I could beam back to about 1965+-.
What would be monthly payments with 0 down
It would be…..you can’t afford it!
Nice truck. Only thing Ford needs to do is copy the tundra rear power sliding window.
My 2024 ram 3500 limited longhorn has #4088
Unaffordable to the middle class, unless you want to mortgage 10+ years of your life.
Shouldn’t be over 75
Don't barff. Get a Garff.
Still overpriced
Yeah...agreed. 6k off, big whoop.

Them wheels are horrible
My very first thought. Gawd awful.
No one cares about decals
