The under the lens reflector does not need to be as big as this. Just a small reflector of the right shape will reflect nearly as much light to fill in the shadows, as a large reflector, because most of the light from a large reflector will be reflected into areas other than the subject. I'd recommend a curved reflector. Unlike the light source from the top, it doesn't need a large area to provide diffused light as it is fill-in, not as bright as the light from the top half. Just trying to help and not to criticise, try it.
True, BUT, you'll be using Live View, and you'll be focusing not with the focus ring, but either rocking your body back and forth ort using a macro slide rail to achieve focus.
This is the best DIY macro defuser tutorial 🎉
Looks great, I had the diffuser already, I'll add the reflector today! I hope you make a rooftop video!! Thanks!!
Jaka jest długość dyfuzora? Masz może jakieś wymiary?
Dobra robota.

Will have a go at making this, thanks for this great video !
Thank you
Thanks for this DIY👍☺️
You are welcome:)
having a 72 or 77mm lens, how can I adapt the raynox 250 to it?
You could use a 72 to 67 step down ring (Vignetting might appear)
Nice! :)
Thank you
Hast du auch n Video, wie man den Rooftop bauen könnte?
But how did you make the top part??????
The top part (pope shield roof) was bought on popeshield.com
The only problem i can see, it's that the under part of the diffuser blocks the manual focus ring.
