Over the 3 weeks we went on a road trip around New Zealand, we found some of the most beautiful gems this world has to offer.
I will be completely honest with you I didn't think I was going to fall in love with New Zealand but here we are. I cannot wait to go back.

Where did you find that helli hike is rated top 3 activities in the world?!
I’m planning a 4-6 week trip to see both island in November 2025 with a car rental. When do you advise on booking hotels and activities? If I book in advance it doesn’t offer me flexibility if weather changes the circumstances. Should I just pay when I do that activity? Or book online? Paying at the venue offers flexibility but don’t want to miss out if no open spots. For Franz Josep helli hike will there be a high chance that I have to reschedule? Also I need help with road map and itinerary. Your advice is greatly appreciated! Great video!

Auckland for a few days for rest. Sky tower, Mt. Eden, Rangitoto
Coromandel- Cathedral Cove, Hot Water beach,
Rotorua- Rafting, Zorb, Redwood Treewalk, Wai O Taoupo,
Waitomo gloworm, Tongario Alpine Crossing,
Wellington, Cable car,Mt. Victoria lookout,Cuba St.Lampton Quay
Fox glacier- helli hike,
Mt. Cook- Hooker Valley
Queenstown a few days- Bunjee jumping, jet boat,
Milfound Sound- Mirror lakes, Marion Falls,
P.S. Would like to do stargazing. Any recommendations on where on the way to these spots?!

I think you should try book some in advance. We just went for it and some nights we didn’t know if we were going to be sleeping in the car 🤣 but you can always adjust on the day or closer I’m sure the hotels will let you!
The heli hike is always going so I don’t think you’ll have to reschedule! The map is super easy there is basically 1 road that goes all the way around the island and 1 that crosses the island!

I don’t know any other spots than where we stayed but you can go to any hostel/motel/hotel just make sure the reviews are good!

You have no idea how long the drives are from centre to centre…madness if you are thinking of going to NZ….brutal video and no informational tips that you need….seems like paid adverts!!!!!
