Where did you find that helli hike is rated top 3 activities in the world?! I’m planning a 4-6 week trip to see both island in November 2025 with a car rental. When do you advise on booking hotels and activities? If I book in advance it doesn’t offer me flexibility if weather changes the circumstances. Should I just pay when I do that activity? Or book online? Paying at the venue offers flexibility but don’t want to miss out if no open spots. For Franz Josep helli hike will there be a high chance that I have to reschedule? Would like to do stargazing. Any recommendations on where on the way to these spots?!
It was online! I think you should try book some in advance. We just went for it and some nights we didn’t know if we were going to be sleeping in the car 🤣 but you can always adjust on the day or closer I’m sure the hotels will let you! The heli hike is always going so I don’t think you’ll have to reschedule! The map is super easy there is basically 1 road that goes all the way around the island and 1 that crosses the island! That sounds awesome! I don’t know any other spots than where we stayed but you can go to any hostel/motel/hotel just make sure the reviews are good! Thank you very much for the support!
