I’m so glad you’re posting. Honestly, the stuff you share: business, family, stuff you’ve learned, quotes and even just your presence online, it makes a difference to somebody. You might get flack for this or that but sometimes there’s a reason you feel impressed to say things. I know you’ve made a difference in my life. God answers prayers often through other people. You and your wife and Dad… all of you have such a light about you. I don’t care that much about mowing lawns, but I love the videos. This channel and The Boring Channel.

I am a Marine Veteran and have had my phases of funk myself.... i really appreciate and think its a good thing you talk about being mentally healthy as a man. Im guilty myself of keeping things to myself when i had others around me who were willing to help but was too stuck in my ways to ask for it. Ive lost 3 friends i served with to suicide since ive been out in 2019 and it really wakes you up to the fact its okay and not weak to reach out to people you trust for support or at least a talk. Sometimes its that one conversation that changes everything.

I have lost a lot of buddies over all the years, but none to suicide. Though I did lose two of my high school classmates that way. It is a very different trauma to deal with, so I feel for you. We never go off course from destiny. If you think about it, it’s not possible. Destiny isn’t a straight road. It’s not even one road. As you were told at the end of the video, turn left to continue with your destination.
Glad the clouds broke for you. We all face some dark trials and paralyzing times. Seeing death first hand takes its toll on us. It never escapes our thoughts.
Also, for many reasons we just feel a loss of purpose and have to reset or change focus even if it’s just temporary. Sometimes we’re just burnt out. Other times we’re just over some things that require permanent change. No destiny is without its, bumps, bruises and setbacks. You have one of the most unique channels on TH-cam that delivers first hand, unique experiences. I don’t catch every video, but I greatly enjoy the ones I see. Keep being you. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

That was a sad Thanksgiving Day for us, but we gave thanks for having been fortunate enough to have had her for so long. My wife and I are nearing 48 year of marriage. Kevin, this was gratefully received, thankyou 😊. I'm so sorry you are still going through that nasty incident. Not sure it's depression or perhaps post-trauma stress actually. You care about people and that was a hard day to cope with! Normally I don't recommend this, but perhaps you tell your doctor what you've been going through? Sometimes, if you replay a scene over and over and over, not in your head but watching the video, it may help to desensitize the relayed shock you got when you had to deal with it. Whatever you feel the need to do, just do it, as you have a lot of stressors re family at the moment too, that you need to cope with. My prayers are with you brother, you are one of God's special humans and He will be well pleased with you. God bless ❤❤

Yours and Al Bladez. While watching you do whatever I think pressure washing. Anyway you went and bought that dog and took it home. That’s something I try to believe I would do. I know take the pup home. I have had several kittens that didn’t have homes. Sadly my neighbors have had mean dogs that hurt my kittens. I only have two left and one is from after the dog pack. But I keep them in my garage now. I haven’t had to say goodbye to any kittens since then.

Kevin, we all go through seasons. It's important to remember (which it sound like you do) that TH-cam is not your ministry. You never quit your ministry. You called to help people, and to display the love of Jesus to a hurting world. I commend you for not quitting pouring out His character even when you were hurting. Instead you trusted Him to take care of you while you remainded on mission. I love to watch what you do, but even if you never made another video, you can still accomplish the mission because the Lord who sees in secret will reward you. You are an inspiration. Remain uncomprimising and treating people with respect and compassion. That's the character of Jesus. If you ever come to New Orleans, I'd love to shake your hand and pray with you. You are a light on this platform. Your success is not determined by the almighty algorithm but by the God you serve. I pray you are blessed beyond anything you can ask or think.

Thank you for having the person on how to improve myself. I have so many things that are started but not finished I get blinders on bc it’s just overwhelming to think about. I’m going to sit and do them one at a time until I get them all finished. I have severe depression and anxiety for 15+ years and know what you feel. Mine was so bad that I am a suicide survivor ; in 2013. I still fight every day not to feel that depressed again. It doesn’t help that I have no social life and I’m a (or was) a social butterfly but my disability prevents me to go out alone. Keep up your videos bc I really enjoy watching them.

Kevin, I sure needed your message today. I've had head junk this last year, too. And it is a spiritual struggle. I understand. I enjoy your messages and the work you do that blesses others. The enemy attacks and I'm glad you recognize and understand this. I think it's beautiful you took a modern day mission trip to different places and spread the love and light of Christ through your deeds. Let your light shine! When you feel that evil try to creep in ... Sing "This little light of mine ... I'm gonna let it shine" and tell Satan to get behind you. Bless your spirit, your heart, your hands. Shine on!

I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying the voice over. And since you're a religious man I thought I would share a quote with you because you are actually speaking about this exact idea in this video and I just love finding people like you in the world ❤
“You have the right to work, but for the work's sake only. You have no right to the fruits of work. Desire for the fruits of work must never be your motive in working. Perform every action with your heart fixed on God. Renounce attachment to the fruits. Be even-tempered in success and failure."
You personify this quote Kevin and I'm glad I have the honor to be a member of your audience 👍

Kevin I’m glad to see you back, I’ve missed your videos. I totally understand where you’re coming from, each of us have to answer to oneself and yes life does throw us some curve balls at time. The best therapy for me throughout my life has been not get caught up in the negative which isn’t always easily done by focusing is on going forward . The focus on me is keeping busy, and of course my garden is my safe haven, planting, harvesting, trimming and yes mowing I zone out and enter a my own reflective world. Sorry for getting out there for a moment. Kevin you are a special man and the world is better place because of caring, giving and kindness you give back. You do you, keep doing what you do and folks can listen or not listen to your comments that’s their choice.

I am glad you are back doing commentary, etc. You went through a horrific thing. I went through something similar. I honestly believe that you needed to go quiet on here for a time. If you'd have forced it, you would probably burn out. Then you wouldn't be able to do what you are called to do to bless others. Sometimes we all need to go quiet, to truly hear ourselves & others.
On another note, my mom & I are not lawn enthusiasts, but we recently found your channels & love them. Well, we find "The Boring Channel" boring without you, being you!

Okay the song did me in and I'm weeping. A very perfect song for this video. Kevin, never fear sharing your heart and where you've been in your life and where you are now it is a blessing to listen to and a help to so many. Hard gained wisdom is made to be shared. Your heart shines through your words and that is always evident. I think sharing your heart brings such a plus to your videos and so many are suffering these days and I feel would be so uplifted by your words. God opened this door and he has the right man walking through it using it for touching hearts and for His Glory. Love the Boring Channel, too, but this one is so very special. 💛

I am so glad you are back to commentary’s on your video’s. I’m sorry you went through what you went thru and you still praise the lord. I have three medical issues this year that I am so thankful for … I became cancer free. My eye sight got better. And just this week they tested my kidneys and I go to dialysis and was going 3 days a week but now I only have to go 2 days a week. I am so delighted and feel a higher power did this. I praise the lord.
God Bless and lots of love to you and yours. You are doing amazing work. You and your dad are amazing and your sweetheart and you dads are also amazing. You all are a team. You and your wife and your dad and his wife. My hopes are your dad is doing better. And his health has improved. And an update would be appreciated on your dad. What I know is positivity and prayer have got me through a lot in life. I feel my set backs needed a name so they are pity parties for Patty and I let it go on for a little while Then I kick myself in the butt to get out of it. Some are only 10 minutes. Sometimes I just vent some. Or am quiet for a period of time. Enjoy the holidays merry Christmas and happy new year. Love everyone the way you want to be loved. Lack of communication can be detrimental to any relationship. Keep doing what your doing.

Okay usually i just watch but rarely comment on videos and this is a long story but i have to tell you how much you have helped me. That video that got you off track for a while was my first experience with lawncare videos. I'm a homesteader in NE Oklahoma so i loved that you were doing this stuff in Tulsa. I lived there for a few years too. At that time i wasn't on youtube very much and it just wasn't my thing but i hit subscribe to support a fellow Okie who clearly has a good heart. Recently, due to things that have happened in my own life as well as our country and the world in general, I'm battling anxiety and depression for the first time in decades. And suddenly the lawncare videos started popping up again. I thought it was weird but i watched a couple including your very-much-not-Boring channel as well as your dad's channel and Al and SB. I found that tuning out the constant barrage of doom and gloom and just watching someone kind help others and exemplify good values helped IMMENSELY with my anxiety. I now only allow myself 1 hour of the day to look at what's going on with politics and society and the world. The rest of the time i put the phone in my pocket and find something constructive to do (it's a homestead so there is ALWAYS plenty to do but I'm over 60 so there's LOTS of breaks too. Lol) and on my rest breaks i only watch positive and uplifting things such as your channel and your dad's. I love this one so much. The JP talk was something i really needed to hear and i love that you deal with critics with a touch of humor and compassion. I know there are others benefitting from what you do as well so keep on keeping on. I appreciate you more than i can say.
