      Thank you. Your support is much appreciated! Andy, I am purposefully clean on my channel.
      I do occassionally redline. Don't think I've ever gotten it on video though.

    Use what you got, learn all you can, and grow from there!! It’s amazing what you can do with just a cell phone and some creativity 😎

      Absolutely!! I was creating content with just my GoPro and my iPhone for the first year of my channel. 👍🏽

    Great walkthrough and lots of helpful info!! 👏 if all else fails with camera mounting options, there’s also Sugru... using it on the AGV (pointy chin bar) and so far, so good 👍

      Thank you, @MotoKari! Also, thanks for the tip on the Sugru. I'm definitely going to try it out.

    I've seen on your newer videos you use the media mod, what all has changed in your setup, can we look forward to an update of this video? Great video, thanks

      I go over my new setup in this video - th-cam.com/video/aaI4c7i8P2g/w-d-xo.html
      I love the new setup. It's cut down on helmet weight and there's less stuff hanging off the outside of my lid. LMK if you have any specific questions.

    Hello to my old friend Roberto. It is so sweet seeing you again. Hope you are doing well & your new owner grooms and feeds you often. May you have a warm and dry place to park. Please visit often if you're feeling in the mood.

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Roberto has hardly made his last appearance on the channel. Though the old Bob doesn't belong to me anymore, there's plenty of archive footage to go around for future videos. Plus, fans can always catch Large Robert in the classics from years past. 😉

    Great videos, thanks! I'm starting with a Go Pro Hero 8 Black. Got it then realized the new design of the cover makes using an external microphone difficult since the cover for the connection is also the battery cover...so this one will likely be the "face cam"/off bike cam now. I'll pickup a 7, 6, or 5 for the helmet cam...still looking.

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I didn't know that about the 8, so that's good to know. Best of luck to you and ride safe! 🤓

      @@thatoneguymoto Yeah, had to get the new Media Mod, which solves the problem, but seems like a silly change to make (unless the goal was to sell new accessories, lol). Ride safe as well!

    Nice tips , by the way which place is best for camera assembly in front, top, side or front mouth piece coz its too hot in our country ,?

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, the best place is right in front of my mouth. I know that when it get's really hot here in Northern California (100°+ F) My GoPro still hangs on when mounted right in front of my mouth, but I wonder if it were on top if it the adhesive would start to slip.
      Sometimes, with the shape of a helmet you have to figure out the best place that works for you. You could also do a chest mount, and do audio separate. That would be your best bet if you think it's too hot and it's going to melt the adhesive.
