    Peanut butter is one of the best foods ever made. It keeps for a long time, it's dense in protein and it tastes lovely

    I've been eating peanutbutter, honey and apples, on white bread, my ENTIRE life. I just recently turned 50, also. I love it!! Now I can't wait to try peanutbutter and spring onion sandwiches!!!!

    Foodtribe definitely needs more crew with an open palette. Apart from James of course because all the other cameos they are extremely picky of the most common things, it's not like he is asking them to eat frogs or bugs yet they object to a ton of stuff.

    I get the feeling that Tom is repressing some childhood memories that he associates with peanut butter. Peanut butter is not an exciting enough food to be that passionately hated just because of its taste and texture.

      A fairly large part of the world doesn't like peanut butter. The western populations have the affinity for it but it just doesn't fit into the palate of most countries. It's like root beer to non Americans. American can't believe other people don't like it.

      @@mattsmith4424 that's why you need to kinda build up "layers" of it. Don't just carve an amount of it out, you need to just blend it up almost with the knife by building up small amounts with each movement of the knife. This softens it.

    Strawberry jam and cheese is one of the greatest sandwiches you can have (next to a plain old smooth peanut butter sandwich of course). I've been having those since childhood and I still love them today. White bread, butter, strawberry jam, boring old cheddar cheese - amazing sandwich.

    I've eaten peanut Butter and Lime Marmalade for years. Another fav of mine is peanut butter, chocolate spread and honey. It's kind of like snickers is a sandwich. By the way, it must be crunchy, not that smooth stuff.

      They aren't natural foods. Nothing wrong with that. Cheese is curded cow's milk, cow's milk is not made for humans anyway, it's made for calves. If anything, cheese is not a normal human food! Peanut butter? The guy doesn't mind peanuts, that's a natural food designed for humans - nuts. Peanut butter , however, is unnatural, it's a processed product. These are hardly even ''foods'' they are just something you can eat that lands well on the palette and feel full afterwards.

    In the states, jelly is made from the juice of the fruit, jam is made from the meat of the fruit. Jam is the equivalent to marmalade.
    We eat slices of Apple with PB frequently. PB and syrup or honey are common as well. Banana also works, just ask Elvis.

      You are correct about Jam and Jelly. However we also have marmalade and recognize that as a separate and distinct thing from jam. Also, if you go beyond jam and contain chunks/bits of fruit then you have preserves.
