Riding the sidi crossfire 2's: For concerns about the width, they felt somewhat narrow in the store, but I noticed once I buckled the boot felt better around the ball of my foot. Also after 3-4 hours of riding they felt like the perfect boot.
Great review. thanks for the in depth small difference from the 2. I have not worn many boots but the srs2 were extremely flexible and comfortable right out of the box to me. compared to 4yr old alpinestar tech 8 the sidi were more flexible on day 1
Thank you WillRide! The Crossfire 3's are really nice boots and best thing about them is you can replace pretty much everything! Thanks for the comment. ~Vinny
The crossfire 3 looks like everything I want except for one thing I can't find in any boot. Do they have replaceable ripple soles like what you would find on military boots. I need aggressive soles that would bite down in wet or muddy condition.
The Crossfire 3 doesn't have an option for a more aggressive replacement sole, but the Crossfire 2 does give you the option for a more aggressive enduro sole that will give you a lot more grip. I'll link to both so you can check them out. That is a very hard question to answer. Are you asking about their top end boots? Each company has entry level up to pro level boots. From personal experience, the Instincts are the most comfortable for me right out of the box. However, the Sidi and Gaerne IMO have better impact protection but are a stiffer boot. I've also had many very hard landings and several crashes and my instincts have not let me down. Hope this helps!~Chase
Which one is better alpine tech 10 or sidi crossfire 3 srs in protection on the ankle, durability, comfort and looking? Also could be in overall protection.
Man, that is a tough question. Here is my take Stiffest-Tech 10 Most comfortable-Tech 10 Most protection-slight edge to Sidi Durability-I'd go sidi Looks-that is very subject to every rider. Some colorways I really like for each boot. Hope this helps-Chase
What's your personal preference on these? Watched your test ride video on these, I ranned the 2 srs for 3 years then recently went tech 7s and ended up buying a pair of these
I like everything about these boots except the width. If the width isn't an issue for you, then I'd say go for it! If you have a boot that lasts you and you like it, then I'd stick with it. But I've ridden in all of them so i'm more than happy to compare these to other premium boots too. leatt's new 5.5 flexlock boot is actually pretty dang solid. We can't post a video on it til December but I've worn them and they're a good boot. Let me know if I can answer other questions. - Chase
The width is the same as the Crossfire 2 SRS. If you like the Crossfire but would like a little more width, the Crossfire TA is about 5mm wider due to the traditional sole.~Chase
I ordered these boots and I have to say it was terribly uncomfortable… around the heel it just dig into the back of my ankle and basically made my feet go numb. Really wanted to like them but ended up sending them back and going for the tech 10s. Definitely not good for people with wide feet / ankles. And I’m not a big guy.
Hum so you can replace the sole but not the front or back.. the parts that are most likely to hit the ground. This seems like a horrible design choice.
i wear the crossfire ta for the wider footbed and they are fantastic! one of the best boots around! thanks guys!
My SIDI boots are the best, most comfortable boots I have ever worn!! 35years of riding.

You got that right Eric! Thanks for watching
ive got a pair of sidis that are 6 years old. very good boot. would buy again
How to you change the toe and heel rubber on the sole when it wears out?
You don't, its permanent, did you watch the video?
Why the hell r u gonna ride on ur toes and heels?
How do these boot do during the summer?
Thanks a bunch for the video, was already thinking about buying and this was very informative.

What are some of the pros/cons of the srs sole vs. the ta sole?
Is that grey and orange because I don’t see that on the website
What is the best one for do motocross sidi, gaerne, alpinestars or fox ?? I want the most comfortable and with the best protection plese answer

In short the parts that wear the most on the sole are not replaceable? seems to be a non sales point now if this is the case
Does the red looks more like orange or red? Because in the Video it looks like orange
The colorway "RedFlo" does have more of a florecent orange look to it.

when are you going to do a 2017 helmet entry-level/beginners guide. what about with entry-level/beginners boots?
Great idea! We'll add it to our list. Thanks!
what is the back ground music .....lol thanx

Any changes to the width?

Ordered a pair
오도방구 부츠는 sidi the best!!!
Has anyone daily or tracked on these boots?
Do you sell all replacement parts?
Yes we do
Cant find anything but soles...
No replacement straps listed on the site.
The only thing that was better on the crossfire 2 is that a supemoto sole was available
*Paul Gasquet* you make a good point for all the supermoto guys out there. Thanks for sharing.
That white one.
