I have these, very solid boot. I'm not sure about the heel or toe, they don't seem very durable. I also have a hard time feeling the shifter with these, may give the Gaerne SG-12's a shot. One area that I'm very happy is how great these work with my Asterisk Ultra-Cell knee braces. The braces tuck into the boot nicely and the anti-rotation tethers can be installed without having to drill into the boot.
Got these recently, full disclosure from another vendor, and had to return them. They literally gave me blisters around my ankles in just one ride (about 45 miles in the desert single track), and the toe box has no padding inside whatsoever. I have had Sidi Crossfire boots for the past 15 years. I've never had any issue with any of the my boots before I got this model. Always have worn a size 47 and the vendor tried to say I got the wrong size boots. So, mind that if you are buying these. Really wanted to love these boots, but either the pair I got were defective or the changes they made are not compatible with my feet. I guess I'll be sticking to the previous models while they are still available.
Really how many people are setting up cones in a parking lot and racing ? supermoto is a made up race 10 years ago and fading out . For anyone that doesn't know about this made up sport , dumb asses put street tires on dirt bikes and put up cones in parking lots and tried to race .
blught these for 701 supermoto. cant feel rear brake and shifter position feels totally awkward. when i take off the boot and ride with normal shoes i feel everything perfect. its a shame cause i love the quality of the boot.
Thanks a lot for your down to the T reviews! 🔥Great help for a beginner here! What boot would it be your best choice for greatest protection and best shifting feeling for a naked bike please? Thank you!!
For street use I would suggest something like these: www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-performer-boots That said, the recommendation can change depending on your intended purposes, as well as foot size/shape. For instance, side typically run narrow so if you have a wider foot we would most likely suggest something from another brand, like TCX. Feel free to shoot us an email at cs@revzilla.com or a call at 877-792-9455 and one of our gear geeks would be happy to assist you! -Zack
@@RevZilla Hi Zack ! Thank you so much for your advice and all the info. Really useful and I do appreciate it. I will have a look into the Sidi boots and TCX too! Keep the great work up dude! 🔥🔥🔥 -Will
It really depends on your calf size, but there is enough space for most people to fit knee braces inside the tops of the boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-crossfire-3-srs-boots
Currently, we only have the Crossfire 3 and some Crossfire 2 Boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-crossfire-3-srs-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-crossfire-3-ta-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-crossfire-2-srs-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-crossfire-2-ta-boots
i can buy the CF3 for the price of a CF2 so i dont know.... the CF 3 got many new features which are better than the CF2 got... will buy them this week would be great to hear some advices
Like almost all motocross/off-road boots, they are not waterproof. However, they are water-resistant against splashes. If you were going to experience very wet conditions, you could wear waterproof sock liners with the boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/klim-covert-gtx-waterproof-boot-liner
Those are probably the two most protective boots we carry, so it's hard to go wrong with either. Both have ankle pivot systems for flexibility without giving up impact protection. -DrewZilla
Anthony, I understand someone once told you that enthusiasm takes you places... but please for the love of god just review these boots normally without 3 lines of coke before each shoot

The fixed heel kinda ruins it for supermoto use..

How do these boots work with braces? doesn't seem like a lot of room on the shin and top of the boot for braces.

How do you get the old cross fire boot's? Do they still make the cross fire boot? 😟😕
Currently, we only have the Crossfire 3 and some Crossfire 2 Boots. -DrewZilla

fixed heel? seems much worse for the supermoto crowd
Yeah for supermoto I'd recommend the Crossfire 2 SRS instead. Those have the full length replaceable soles.
why do u recommend the CF 2? instead of the CF3? only because of the sole? @kalvin
Yes. Because of the full length sole, and that they're a bit more affordable.
i can buy the CF3 for the price of a CF2 so i dont know.... the CF 3 got many new features which are better than the CF2 got...

i bought the cf3 ... everything better on cf3 ... only the sole. dont know why they did that.

SIDI Crossfire 3 vs Gaerne SG12, what's your opinion? Protection is my main concern.
Those are probably the two most protective boots we carry, so it's hard to go wrong with either. Both have ankle pivot systems for flexibility without giving up impact protection. -DrewZilla
Gaerne SG-12 FTW, I tried both
Would these fit a 22" calf
The adjustable calf plate system _should_ allow a 22" calf to fit. -DrewZilla
wow 600 down to 250.00 in 6 years time .
HTH can these be "truely" 4 season if they are not waterproof... For this price there is no Gore-Tex, shame!!

I enjoyed his pace. He gets right through the review.
I thought i was the only one that noticed LOL
I love it for one. If I feel low on energy, I just go to any of his reviews and I am good to go again 🎉
