Not a TOC kind of cleaner here but, man, keeping things clean make them last longer, and improves self-steem in some cases, saves money, keeps from disposing things just because they are a little dirt. Maintenance is gold.

The thing is though, they all had modern tools while my house didn’t have any tools to clean a keyboard whatsoever, and I didn’t want to annoy my parents to buy me the tools needed lel. And then I found this video and well you didn’t use the tools that are used to well clean keyboards ( no offence ) and that really helped me so I searched through my entire house to get a not used anymore toothbrush, a tissue and something that I don’t know what even is. The keyboard I use to this day has been the same keyboard my sister used for years and my mother used it for years before her. It's gotta be at least 12 years old. One day I needed a new keyboard and my sister had it in her closet but she used another one instead I guess because it was cleaner lol, so I took it and cleaned it up. It was very disgusting and after taking it apart, I had to vacuum my room, but it was worth it because it's a very good-looking keyboard but it gets dirty very easily. The keyboard is the apple A1048

Just soak for an hour or two, put them in a jug and stick ot under the tap to get rid of the extra dirt leftover, then stick them all together in a tea towel and shake them about until they're dry, if there's any dirt left then you can sweep it off but most will be fine. Its like an hour less work for the same result.

Mine been with me for 4 years, fully functional, but some keys stopped working, I tried to clean it, it was a mess, I cracked it open, cleaned the keys and cleaned the case, set the membrane aside and other mechanical stuff, and once all is said and done It never worked again

This is what I imagine the keyboards at school libraries look like inside. They are always so oily on the surface that I started bringing my own.
The whole cleaning process are probably 3 times more expensive than the price of the same keyboard brand new
