That young man is going to grow very strong working that firewood - good job! 1000% better than sitting on the couch playing video games.
And when he's 60 to 70, he'll be walking around bent over from lower back problems. Ask me how I know!
You got that right!👌
Your cinematography has really become top notch. Good camera work, editing, very enjoyable.
Certified arborist here. Awesome set up. Hard worker. He had ear protection on and good heavy boots. Please consider eye protection and gloves. Weird things happen like hydraulic lines break shooting high powered fluid into eyes and skin. Parts crack etc. Great show
I owned and operated a firewood supply company in Vermont during the seventies. We paid stumpage on lots felling and skidding logs to the yard then bucking the wood green. The advantage is that green wood cuts and splits much easier and the disadvantage is the weight. This monster splitter doesn’t care if the wood is gnarly or dried and it’s much much easier to handle dry wood as it weighs a quarter of green wood. Not to mention the value of seasoned hardwood is at least fifty percent higher. Thank you for a peek at your firewood business. I love the fact that this young man is able to contribute to the family business. I am sure he likes the hard earned money as well.
I like how the dog knew how to maintain his rule over the whole operation while maintaining an almost cavalier nonchalant demeanor.
Emerald is a beautiful gem!
Now that’s a logger throwing logs around having your dog next to you that kid keeps doing that he’s gonna be one tough kid God bless
Just a suggestion to help Judah, the operator side of the splitter needs to come up 2 to 3 inches so he doesn't have such an incline to roll the wood. If possible the opposite side needs to come down. If the lifting ramp foot were in a slight hole it wood also help. I am not there and I am positive you guys are well cared for so I hope I am not out of line to offer my opinion . My personal business is analyzing operations for efficiency and ease of operations so I can't keep my nose out of other people's business ! You guys are a real inspiration and example of what we need as a world to solve our problems! Bravo ! Keep up the great work and God bless you all!
That is not a bad idea, that way one is not pushing uphill.
I have watched most of your videos and enjoy them. There’s one thing that I would like to see and that is line up all of your family members and introduce them and describe their main role at the log yard
Hey guys . I knew we were going to have something to do with firewood 🪵 by the massive pile in your intro ,you guys have it down with processing your firewood,me way way way back in the day we would cut down trees on our property, and we would cut them no chainsaw ,ax. Only ,then cut onto 22 “ pieces ,load on the wagon take to the splitting area ,it’s all I did as a teen ,1968-1979 ,good times ,your doing great ,love watching the process 😎
Emerald covered this. Dig back 12- 15 months and you’ll probably find the video. My apologies, I can’t remember the title.
The little guy does pretty good with the splitter.
Cool 😎 to see Judah working.
Roxy's workin' up a powerful thirst as well:)!
It's crazy that that entire mountain of firewood will be gone in a few months.
Just love the work ethic of the kids contributing to the family business and finances. Hope that is a positive head start on how they will operate as adults and handle their own families.
Mr. Serious! Another member of the family who works hard but seldom smiles.
2:08 now that pile of logs appears so ominously intimidating. What a fortress !
Great family values, amazing work ethic and a sense of accomplishment! That’s what I get out of Lumber Capital Log Yard!
The young man is cranking it out there, making his space in the business work for the family. Well done young Sir. Great story telling as always.
holy crap .......there is a lot of firewood Manager Emerald looks happy 🤟😊🤞
I would really like to see safety glasses on all of you when you’re using machinery 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice to see little brother helping out today!!
If the government has its way, they will force you out of the firewood business. In NYS they are already trying to ban wood stoves. It’s sad but I’m afraid it’s true. Great vid Em. Thanks for posting.
Another very good video, thank you!!! 👍🏼
Very interesting to see that splitter in action too.
That’s quite an impressive set up and crew!
Young man is killing it.
Young master Jude knows what he is about. Doggo supervisor keeps it all running smoothly.
You all have given me grill envy. Now I have wood splitter envy.
The new season for firewood is coming, Good job! 😅
He might be as strong as you gals already!! He's tossing those logs like they were paperweights!!
Yeah well Biology is real
Start’em young
Great Video Ladies, and Juda! Thanks for sharing your day with us! Have a wonderful evening. TTFN
That was a huge pile of firewood and it has been too long since I said in front of a fire I miss it and aren't hydraulics wonderful 😁👍🐝
Just curious - why do we so rarely encounter Teri in the videos? Maybe just a personal preference? Your entire family is amazing and I would like to hear her stories and comments as well. Did I miss some content maybe?
THAT is quality firewood!😊
Hi Emerald Ernie from Niagara Falls. Thank you for taking us through the process your family uses to process large pieces of trees into firewood. Your brother showed excellent skills in running the log splitting machine. Love your videos.
Hard working young man
Judah, you are the man! Great video team LCLY! I like the logs stored until needed, makes good sense.
Curious why the log lift doesn't go all the way up so the log would roll off easier instead of having to pull it up the ramp/lift each time. Is it a safety issue?
Awesome individuals, awesome team's and awesome people behind the scene's supporting them in what they do.
Good work Judah now let’s see another one of acrobatics shows like that one you did ,,good to see y’all doing great.
I've been watching more than a year now and I think this is the first time I've seen Judah running a machine. Have I missed one?
Yes
Nice work! Glad y'all are continuing to enjoy the Alpha!
Love the serious attitude, well done lad! 😎 And Roxy's like get the camera away from me 😂👍♥️🇨🇦
Roxy’s got everything under control! Good dog!
It’s nice to see a young man who isn’t afraid of physical work, well done!
That scene behind you of piled up firewood reminds of long ago artist Alvin Lee & Ten Years After song titled Wood Choppers Ball. LOL 😂 👍🎸😎✌️
That young man will be one heck of a logger one day.great job.
Wonderful splitting
that is how i store firewood as well just cut to length for our wood stove i don't have space to store full sized logs😅 that young man is going to have super strong forearms and shoulders he already has a good work ethic❤❤❤
from log to firewood in 3 passes and automatic truck loading... Judah's the only manual part of the process... pretty cool!
Great job guys
Nice video and I luv the relaxed dog.
Good job young man!👍 Nice to have your canine helper.🐶🐕
Great music to work to. Thanks for bringing us along
The Lumber Capital Log Yard Band sounds great as always! 🎶
Good job young man
The Pickaroon is your friend
Way to go Judah well done. Great video thank you.👍♥️♥️
Wonderful invention them splitters.
Emerald, you have really become quite prefessional, confident and comfortable in the videos. I've been watching for some time and you are quite good. Just thought you should know.
Love your videos! Shot like a pro!
Great operation.
Very good video, Emerald. Good videography, good content, good narration, precise, and to the point. Hard working young lad, too.
Wow! That thing is ssssllllloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww! I almost fell asleep just in this video let alone running it. Poor kid.
Awesome splitter.
Outstanding work!!!!

That dudes gonna be a tank when he's 18🎉
Great job "team". Enjoyed it
I have used a Timberwolf TW-1 for many years and love it.
Love ewerything about your channel, and you and your sister are two hard working beautiful lady`s. the business you have going on there with the rest of the family is fenomenal. Hope you servival into the future. Best regards from Norway.
YEA, Judah has grown since almost a year ago watching Your Videos. I WILL DUB HIM THE YFWM=Young Firewood MASTER!!! MANY BLESSINGS UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!
Great job Judah, and great machinery.
Awesome splitter work. Doggo '...And cut. Get my best side.'
LCLY is awesome 👍
Good work and looking lovely girl❤
What a wonderful machine. Work smarter, right. Awesome job. Thanks for sharing
Wow, that is some great machine.
Logs will not be dry until they are split. You can prove this to yourself with a moisture meter. A seasoned log is still a high moisture content piece of wood. A piece of split firewood that has been "seasoned" has been air drying in order to lower the moisture content. A seasoned log when first split will not make seasoned firewood. But seasoned firewood will result from air drying in proper conditions for 6 months to a year. Use your moisture meter and make a video for us to demonstrate it.
Fair point, you can pretty much see as its cutting its not seasoned by how stringy it is. I think Em proved some time back that she doesn't know how to use a moisture meter, and in any case, if the customers don't seem to mind its apparently not an issue.
Yeearrrrd!
I remember cutting, hauling, sawing and splitting my on firewood in my younger days. We had a 36” buzz saw off a Massey Harris tractor pto that would not pass OSHA today. Those were the days😢
Ditto. A big Buzz Pile and moving table for Model A powered blade.
That's quite a lot of firewood you all had to cut and what a good video
I like the idea of using a pole and not reach through the moving parts, the ear protection is a plus but no eye protection. Safety glasses are a must with moving machinery and splinters.
Super nice video 😊😊😊
I love Emeralds narration. I'd buy firewood but I'm in Kentucky. 😂
Yeah babay. Getter done.
Good video, like your cutoffs
That's pretty cool, guys. Thanks for posting.
@6:25.....And the Boss gave me the job to keep an eye on Judah, just to make sure
he's on sluffing off!😉
Essa familha vale ouro todos
Trabalha parabem pai ezemplo amo voçes 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good video Emerald. Wise choice!
Always enjoy your content. Is the firewood Hemlock?
I love everything about your lil' shows and look forward to every new episode.
Great job CREW😊😊😊
Great video. Thanks for producing and posting. Very satisfying watching that machine work.
I got a kick of your little brother and the dog. Ho hum, just another day at the log yard..
A fine young man. Much respect.
That is an interesting wood splitter, I know you said it has been in use for a long time, just curious how often do you have to sharpen the blades for cutting the wood up, or have they never had to be sharpened? That is an amazing family operation you have all the way from Falling the trees to creating lumber and wood chips and fire wood. Keep up the good work.
Good job Judah !
They make firewood makers that take 8 to 10 foot logs and cuts and splits them all at the same time! Works like a processor head on harvester!
Huge log pile. Need to have a pundling party. Just cook up some of that fine BBQ and i bet you would get all sorts of volunteers 🤪👍
Well at least u Can notice that I can keep u warm in the winter.
Thanks beautiful
