  • In this part 1 video I go over the settings you can change in the vehicle using the Tazer and not having to have it plugged in all the time. Part 2 will go over the settings like line lock and Force RWD which are the live settings that require you to have the Tazer plugged in at all times. This is specific for the Durango/Grand Cherokee.
    RacerX will be doing his own Tazer review for the challengers and chargers so if you dont follow him currently go ahead and check out his channel and give him a subscribe as he will go over the settings better than I can here as Z Automotive was NOT very responsive to my requests for more info on their features. Part 2 will come out in a few days as IM still editing that video currently!
    If you need to know how to install the Tazer along with the bypass please check out this short video here: • Z Automotive Tazer ins...

    Do this unlock full power of trackhawk if red key has been lost

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Trackhawks only come with a red key and not a black one. So it’s always on full power unless you go to valet mode. However yes there is an option to always have red key if I’m not mistaken.

    Have you noticed while driving at night the mirror lights go into the light show mode for a split second? I have the tazer in a 15 jgc summit.

      @@MattySRT is there a dedicated button for the light show? Cause I never have the tazer menu up while driving. And in order to get the light show isnt that a couple buttons?

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zieske98 there’s 3 ways to access the light show. First is through the menu. Second way is by putting on your bright lights and pressing the + button that increases your cruise control speed. Third way is by buying the aux buttons or using the buttons for adaptive cruise control and assign them to work as a shortcut for the light show which is what I have.

    Does the durango go right back into awd if you unplug the tazer? How do you know you are in rwd besides the dash display but goes away after few seconds ? I get scared ill keep my durango in rwd without knowing it

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes if you unplug it by default it will go back to AWD as that is a live feature and the Tazer needs to be plugged in to make RWD stay on. As far as knowing if it’s still on I can tell when I put it in RWD and have always made it a point to make sure I hit button back cuz if I don’t when I lock the car the dash really never powers down and will keep trying to reset and power down which will kill your battery overnight. Worst case scenario just unplug Tazer when you get out of the car each day then plug back in when you
      Get in. I always lock
      My car and wait 20 secs to make sure dash Powers down

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bigdaddybmoneyy yes I have done that recently. You really can’t tell a difference other than if you floor it cuz then of course the back wheels peel out. The steering is a bit different since the front wheels aren’t getting power anymore so there’s less feedback and feel

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to have the Tazer married to your vehicle for all the functions to work. I tried mine on another car and the only thing that worked was the lights shows. So technically you have to have your own tazer

    does the tazer remove the rev limiter?

    • @MattySRT
      @MattySRT  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it does NOT. Speed and rev limiter are part of the PCM and the Tazer only changes the BCM so it wouldnt be able to do that. You would need an unlocked PCM and tune to do a rev limited change.

    this wont work on 18+ FCA, All 2018+ FCA vehicles are built with an SGW Security Gateway Module that prevents access to the vehicle from the OBD2 port by anything but the dealer diagnostic tools.

    Seems clunky. I'd much rather have a device I can do my programming through the device and not the steering wheel. Also I've used programers in the past never had to pay a fee to use it on another car all I've needed to do was pull the programming from the vehicle back onto the programmer and use it on another vehicle or sell the programmer if I didn't need it anymore.
