    Puzzle boards tend to vary in quality and price and some of these puzzle boards/tables can be very expensive. I've never wanted to bother with the type that you reviewed. I do all my puzzles flat on the table and I have space to put my trays of pieces without them getting in the way. Look forward to your next video.

      The wooden tables are definitely more expensive. I have a number of options at this point, but still haven't come across the perfect thing...if there even is such a thing LOL. I'm currently having to put my original puzzle table (short legs) on top of another tall standing puzzle table in order to have my preferred setup.

    I recently got the Ravensburger puzzle board, I wanted to get a tilted board to prevent back- and neck pain from leaning over the table the whole time, and though the quality is great I am still not sure how to use this most conveniently.
    Usually I do a full flip of the pieces and then work in little sections, so I have a lot of small 'islands' of puzzle and then when I have enough I slide them to the correct place and click them together. With the board it is more difficult to slide, plus it takes up so much more space on the table now, because I have all the flipped pieces + the board, where first I was just puzzling in the middle of the flipped pieces.
    Its interesting to see how people use the puzzle tables and boards, this particular brand board would be to flimsy for me, and for that price I would want something more sturdy. I would expect a 'build it with tubes' board to cost 20,- not 50,-.
    I like that the Ravensburger is very stirdy, its wood with a sort of blue velvet lining, very pretty. (And I bought it at a Ravensburger Outlet so I paid 60,- euro's which is still not very cheap but also not too bad I think.)

      This board is quite pricey for the overall quality. At that price, some may even want to save a bit longer and get a wooden one. I can see how it can work for some, but like you, I prefer to work on more sturdier surfaces. I'm going to look into your Ravensburger board as I'm curious as to what it looks like.

    I would be worried that it might collapse once I got more than halfway through the puzzle.

      @thepuzzledmandy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. I didn't work on it fully to the end of the puzzle, so I'm not sure if it'll still hold up to the weight of the whole puzzle in terms of sliding off.

    Thank you for reviewing this puzzle board. Although I certainly see where this would suit some puzzlers, it looks too fragile for me. I work my puzzles on a 1960s Samsonite card table that has an ivory vinyl top. I may be an outlier here but I didn't care for the music playing in the background of this video competing with your lovely voice.

      It's all about figuring out what works best for you! I'm currently working with my original puzzle table sat on top of a tall legged puzzle table. It's the only way I can work on my preferred non slip surface without having to sit on the floor.
      As for the background music, thanks for the feedback 🤗 I experimented setting it up a little differently this time, but I'll be sure to keep it lower next time.

    How does the size compare to the original Sunix mat? I bought the Sunix about a month ago and like it pretty well. I've got it set up on a folding table in my study, which allows me to spin it around as needed to get to all parts of the puzzle. Frankly the only thing about it I'm not thrilled about is that it only comes with 4 bracket-thingies, rather than the 6 in this new iteration. (If you know how I could contact them to get two more bracket-thingies, I'd be grateful.)

    • @thepuzzledmandy
      @thepuzzledmandy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't think I have Sunix's contact. But if you go to my main page and click on "more" under my channel name, you'll get a pop up window showing the "About" info. If you click to see my email, and contact me, I'd be happy to send you my set 🤗I would post my email or link here but TH-cam will delete it.

      I did try a Magic Puzzle Co puzzle not too long ago, I do have a video on it here! It really was such a fun image. I would definitely work on another one in the future.

    That looks nice, but I don't know about the not slipped I do tend to move sections or the entire puzzle off when done.

    • @thepuzzledmandy
      @thepuzzledmandy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea, it's a nice overall package, but the non slip isn't that fantastic and could cause issues depending on your angle.

    Based on your review I checked it out on Amazon. Based on those reviews I would not purchase one. Still looking for something in my budget that would work for me 🙂.

      It really is not for everyone, and it does need some improvement especially with the price tag.

      The stand was a little too cumbersome for my liking. I can see how it can work for some, but for the price I think it needs some work.
