- Cellist Colin Carr sees the six suites as “Bach’s children at various stages of life”. Could no. 3 symbolise an overconfident student? Cellist Reinier Wink, the student of Bach Society cellist Lucia Swarts, who recorded the Cello Suite no. 1 in C major for All of Bach, thinks that in any case the key of C major suits his own stage of life, saying “young people are simply more often cheerful”.

What exactly is happening in Netherland? A rise of quite a few very talented interpreters of Bach on a scale we've never seen before? This young cellist's performance is brilliant as well. I wish him a great musical career ahead!
Bach has been part of our musical culture for a long time. I think this is partly due to our organ culture. From organ builders to Sweelinck, the organist's organist, we've always had a special connection with the instrument of all instruments and therefore the composer of all composers, Bach. Easter is coming up again, this means there will be more amazing performances of the passions in a week than most countries see in a year.
Or you know no other places has bothered to create a TH-cam channel dedicated to Bach representing an entire country

I'm nineteen and I can't play like that either (I play the cello). This performance is really beautiful. It motivates me to continue practicing my Bach (which I don't play in the right order either :D). It may still be a long time before I can play like that; or I can never do it... But it would be awesome.

It really fascinates me. I’m 16 and can play the cello well, but this guy plays better than I do playing the 3rd suite.
The cello breaths beautifully and how the scenery seems to reflect the music : "a cloudy green city and the gray water breathing below... but from time to time, just a touch of sunlight through the dark clouds..." What a fine musician... All my gratitude for this lovely journey.
This boy's intimate yet mature understanding of Bach's eloquent cello poetry moves me to tears.

It seems to me that the world is filled with this lovely music and also with this warm light, which we can see from the windows and is enveloping us in a friendly hug.

5. Bach respondió a esta oportunidad acústica con una música cálida, espaciosa y extrovertida. Sus melodías se basan en escalas y acordes rotos, indicando claramente la armonía que un acompañamiento habría proporcionado en otros medios. El gran preludio comienza con una escala y un acorde quebrado, bajando dos octavas, y luego subiendo la escala.
