I lost my wife with a brain cancer 8 weeks ago and I am loosing my mind what to do without her. Bach's music make myself calm down deeper and deeper and touch my soul. We will see each other soon.
So sorry for your loss. I am glad you are finding some peace and tranquility from this music. We will all meet our loved ones again someday, when it’s our time. For now, try to remember the good times, the memories.

So sorry for your loss wife. I can understand your feeling. Because i was a brain tumor patient a few years ago. That was a very hard time to me .but now i can regain my health. Calm down and listen to the sound of your deep heart..that would be helpful for you..
In the same way that music connects people all over the world... it's amazing to realize that emotions are also a universal language... the pain of abstaining from contact with someone who helped us live... This too shall pass. Or.. shall be softened.
While you don't see her again, do in honor of her what she would like to do or would like you to be doing... you can do it to others too. This might make you already have meetings in dreams, to plan and evaluate actions.
If this music would play on the halls and rooms of hospitals around the world, sick people would heal faster.

J S Bach composed over 1000 pieces of music. He lived only 65 years. I am always speechless when I think about His genius. It is the composer I could spend my life listening to his music. (if I had to choose)
65 years in the 18th century is like 120 in the 21st century. Usually people didn't get much older than 45.
His blessing from the one and only God Almighty. Am glad Bach followed his calling to bless us with beautiful music today. Thanks be to God Almighty♥

Takes me back to the time i used to take visual art classes at a local arts school, and bach was a big part of our soundtrack because of the music students on the room next to the atelier. It was always so calming and charming, it made the 10-15 year old me learn to enjoy classical and at the same time made my mind associate the good feeling of the ambience, with the music, indoor gardens and afternoon sunlight coming throught the canopy of those trees, with the activities of painting and drawing with my friends. I enjoyed art before, but this made me love it.
This is one of the most beautiful memories I’ve ever heard about.
The slower the playing/pull the more difficulty to maintain smoothness, thus greatly enjoy the skill expressed here.

Bach = grand master of baroque music. If the only music in the world were from Bach and Vivaldi, we would still have a very rich musical tradition.

Imagine a world where music like this was our singular way of communicating.
I love the way Bach has master the form of feeling music with all the dynamics of accidentals. Also the way Bach is able to express his music through "creciendos and diminuendos.'' Great music to forget what is happening in our world today. We in the Sanchez family are proud of our little granddaughter studying the cello and how we can connect with a master through her classes. Best of luck to all cello students, orchestra, mariachi, jazz, band, guitar and piano players. Best of luck to all students of all forms of music. I started listening to this album by chance a few years ago. I think this is probably the best of Bach's unaccompanied cello albums.

I only started appreciating classical music recently. I've listened to Tjavosky, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi Chopin and all the other popular acts but i must say Bach is the easiest on the ears. My favourite is Mozart thus far because he is so colourful and exciting but Bachs mellow Cello. He's devine

Recently i began listening and really appreciating classic music. I now understand when they say that art is something that is supposed to make you feel something. Some piano pieces had even made me feel chivers and two of them made me cry. Just wow.
You should definitely check out the work of Chopin and Debussy if you haven't yet. The kind of music that transcends.

Gavotte II of the Suite 5 has been a tune that has been haunting me for the last 30 years! It was used as a 8 bit soundtrack for a videogame for C64 and I have been searching it for decades! Today is the day I can finally give it a name!

Bach is great in synchronizing with Alpha waves,not only in Dementia patients, but also in patients with PTSD and panic disorder. Other composers that calm patients are Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Strauss Waltzes, and Ludvic von Beethoven 's 7th symphony

Once I met a great cellist.. friend of a friend. He never played music throughout his life. Then, one day, he heard the Bach Cello Suites and asked "What is that instrument that makes such music?" and he went out and bought a cello. Today, it is remarkable to hear the sensitivity with which he plays that music. Bach, through his art, taught a man about his own outstanding ability, which he never suspected he possessed.

It's always amazes me how this great music has survived up to 2021 and how back in bach's time people felt the same way we do listening. When music last this long this good it was from our creator he's a happy God. Bach know it.
