This was so helpful! I bought those cheap big box lights to fix my current system. You click them onto the wire. Easier said than done. I bent the connector on pretty much every one. Total junk. This process looks so much easier and durable.

You did well. Love the up lighting. It looks so sophisticated. I did down lighting because my roofline is low. People generally don't appreciate soft accent light for the outside of their home. Not only is it beautiful, it is great security. Just love this.

Great video, except I believe that even though you wired your second light correctly, you drew the connections wrong. You drew left wire to wire “A” of the lamp and right wire to wire “B” of the lamp. What you actually DID (correctly) was all wire “A” (From left, lamp & right) wires get connected and all “B” wires get connected. My goodness it sounds so much simpler in my mind than to actually type it out. I do hope you understand what I am saying though. The aesthetic is very pleasing! 😊

Most solar lights can be taken apart, and batteries (A, AA, AAA) can be changed to make them work longer. Sometimes, you need to add more silicone, but it's cheaper and better for the environment to do that. Also, if you get good batteries, they hold the light longer. Just remember they need to be rechargeable.
