The flame-thrower should still absolutely deal damage to armored targets, the smaller flame weapons shouldn't tho. I don't think a primary flame-thrower should be able to cook chargers. But armor or not you're literally cooking them in their shells and that stratagem should still do damage to them. They could've easily just increased the amount of damage needed to take them down a bit.
Why? They work like anti tank mines would, mostly, no idea how heavy terminid warriors are, but a helldiver standardly would set them off as we mosy likely would be around 300+ pounds at the very least which is more than enough to set off AT mines, they pack a meaty punch and delete enemies, also a sheild gen pack can save you from stepping on them, i agree that smaller enemy units like Pouncers and such shouldn't set them off, but the automatons infantry might be heavy enough, at the very least the flight pack and light gunner variants should be.
What crazy is that they nerfed how fire works right before a whole war bond related to fire plus I have an idea for how they do balances instead of nerf them you should buff or balance other weapons to perform better so for ppl choose other weapons
The fire is not only worse than before but it also LOOKS bad. I think the flamer support weapon should be reverted, but the primary / Secondary flamers should remain as they are (for balance). Incendiary breaker changes are fine imo, you aren’t meant to be mag dumping individual units with that but setting hordes on fire from a medium distance
has anyone else felt an increase in the number of bugs and the speed at which the swarm you. I feel like they are just constantly on top of me and they close the distance really fast now. Am I the only one?
The worse part of the glame thrower is 100% the change in camera and recoil. Both stealth changes. It was my favorite support. It was an obvious change.
@@Scriptomancy I mean it would have made sense literally got fire of every thing grenades fire shotgun fire flamethrowers absolfuckinglutely. Marksmanship no buut I could digress and cmon you really need a sniper rifle with inciderary I don’t really think it would be worth it. Not assault rifle with pretty lower damage than smg’s and shotguns of course it need incendiary rounds
I mention to folks particularly struggling with the change to try running the supply pack. So even for folks like me that tend to over fire with it, it becomes a non-issue.
The problem with "just buff the weak" is that when you have a one size fits all weapon, buffing the other weapons means they'll also become that. At that point, you have the freedom to just do anything because everything works. Which I find rather boring. It's what made me quit Warframe. That being said, you can't just nerf everything into the ground either. There's a balance to balancing, so to say.
Breaker change was necessary, it was crazy OP and still is! you just have to conserve ammo now and the recoil isn't noticeable, IT'S FINE!!!!!! slugger was a revert, they changed it, people complained, they change it back and people are still complaining, but that's human nature, we suck sometimes, I don't care what anyone says double the ammo regen means grenade pistol got a BIG buff, the flame thrower wasn't nerfed, it was broken and they fixed it, we were warned months ago the charger leg meta was unintended and it would get patched but it was low on the list and would take a while, people can still argue it sux and they don't like it but it wasn't nerfed
The incendiary is the only nerf I'm mad about. It was OP at all in fact it was literally the only weapon that was remotely useful against the countless swarms of bugs on higher difficulties.
If it's to OP then I'm ok with the nerf. But then what? If every player are using punisher are they going to nerf them too? By so far what they done? Hell yeah they would. This is the problem. Arrowhead dosen't know why 30% where using IB. It was easy, effective to bugs reinforce so you can pick other stratagem for chargers or titan or some other things you like.
Hey, like the meme said... maybe if you guys didn't play with the same three guns over and over, you wouldn't wine about the changes so much. I swear to god, as someone who likes to switch it up a lot and use all kinds of different loadouts, this meta bullshit is infuriating to me. ALMOST ALL THE WEAPONS ARE PERFECTLY FINE TO USE AGAINST BUGS! EDIT: Oh and before you guys whine, I usually have the most kills in the group when playing with randoms... so I'm not getting carried.
bitch please i use liberator and still tops. but thats not the point. The point is the mentality behind the nerf and the way it is nerfed or buffed. Getting max kill is very easy. Too easy.

I'm still upset about the anti-tank mine's
Oh, I know you are

Do they delete tanks?
@@ST._Trinas_Torchthis is also a fictional world where we would manufacture them in relevance to the weight of the heavy automatons
@Room40_07 aaand that weight would still be relative to modern tanks as they also, use tanks, you can't defeat me with thay logic lol

Ngl all 3 flamethrowers are just bad choices to use in Helldive difficulty. Like its just super rough the new shotgun thonis pretty neat
The fire is not only worse than before but it also LOOKS bad.

Yeah, the change in how it looks is something that's not talked about as often but I have some some posts about it.

The De-escalation of Freedom
Stamina seems to deplete more rapidly
It doesn't. Many things can make it seem like that, but it hasn't changed
A planets temperature, backpacks, heavy armour, heavy support weapons and weird terrain factor in to depletion of stamina
The worse part of the glame thrower is 100% the change in camera and recoil. Both stealth changes. It was my favorite support. It was an obvious change.
I already preferred bots over bugs. This just means I play bugs less.
Nerfing shit in PvE games and then wondering why the player base is low has always given me a nice chuckle
We should have gotten assault rifle with inciderary
Buddy and I had this conversation as well.

"Already ammo hungry primary" huh? the breaker? never ran out of ammo with it, I used to use it alot but became boring asf IMO the nerf was deserved.

I dont really agree with the ib nerf, but yea that whole shitstorm just because of 3 nerfs is just ridiculous
Id still like to see a fear mechanic with fire based weapons tho. Having a big walk towards a flame is non sense.

Having a fear mechanic is genius. I've seen it offered by some others and I think it'd be extremely fun
