  • For students who have a lower than average GPA that is typically accepted for PA school (2.95-3.1) I often get asked if students should take new upper level science coursework or retake older classes. In this video, I will break it down for you, but it is also very applicant dependent.

Hello, firstly thank you for your content. I'm a chiropractor that is trying to build my academic resume for PA school. Most of my courses were 500 level courses however I finished chiropractic school with a 2.9 gpa. I'm looking for advice on retaking classes or what approach I should take for applying to school.

If you have a 3.5 cum and 3.8 science last 90 credits 4.0 . 1k dpc hours . Would you take an acceptance from a probation program or wait to hear back from others .

Is it possible for me to be a pa if I graduated 15 years ago and my classes wont be accepted? What are my options?

Hello! I got a C+ in anatomy and I feel like that's a big pre-req to not do super well in, but it is a hard course at my university. I still have cell bio, and physiology to take too. But I know some schools need a B- in any prereqs. I'm considering retaking it, because I won't be taking biochemistry. Thoughts?

Hi there what about taking a GRE? Would that be helpful in terms of showing hey my gpa is not high but I have the grit and persistence to do well on a test which is all based on the hard work you put towards it?

Hello, my core GPA is a 3.4 and my science GPA is 3.1. Do you recommend I do a post-bac or masters?

It depends, I would first retake any prerequisites with a C or below. Then potentially consider a masters. You should book a call with us to really break it down!

My question is when I was young 10 plus years ago I didn’t go to class and got Fs but after 2016 I was a straight A student prerequisite and my bachelors is a 3.9. And still got rejected because of my gpa. My life 10 years ago is effecting my chances today, I don’t know how to improve anymore then I have.

I think we need to talk program selection strategy for you..

Yes I need help. I was so baffled because my anatomy classes I got As biochemistry I got an A+, cell biology A, O Chem A. And so on and never retook any of these classes. What I failed was 101 classes in 2014. I did not expect them to take those classes seriously

@@SonnyVakil it’s because it’s calculating an overall gpa of all the classes you’ve ever taken. If you book a reapplication review with me, I can go through it and help with strategy
