I’m afraid of my transcripts because I have 4 withdrawals due to a change in major and when covid hit. You can definitely see when online classes hit during covid my senior year and my GPA tanked :/

Thats okay, as long as you have had an upward trend since and have been able to do better recently.

What about people who are STEM majors who take harder courses than a psych major etc.. Are they more favorable? For example a person who is a Biology major with a 3.4 vs. a person who is a psych major with a 3.8 overall.

Do I need to re-take Anatomy&physiology 1&2 if it’s been 5 years since I took those classes? or are there programs that accept those clases no matter how long I took them?

There are programs that have longer expiration dates than 5 years

I'm in Georgia and the problem I'm having is many of the universities are requiring my prerequisites not be older than 10 years. And they want me to repeat all of those classes, which to me is just a waste of money. I found three schools that I could possibly apply to without that stipulation. I have not calculated My overall GPA and my science GPA but I did watch your video on how to do it. The program that I really want to apply to has a minimum of 3.4 GPA for its candidates. I have my BSN biology and a minor in chemistry and I also have an MS in pharmacology. What courses would you recommend that I take to really boost my GPA and if I'm around the lower end of 3.0 to 3.2 roughly how many classes would it take for me to really get up to a 3.5 3.6 GPA taking upper level credits

I would need to take a critical look at your transcripts to give a recommendation. Most programs have gpa minimums of 3.0, which program is 3.4?

The average applicant for Yale's online program is 3.4. Are you still willing to look at my transcripts?

If I have a cum GPA of 3.5, and a science GPA of below 3.0, is it worth applying?

    • @theposhpa

It depends on your science and if you can increase above a 3.0
