    About me:
I’m Michele Neskey, aka The Posh PA. Welcome to my channel! My mission is to provide personalized guidance, education, and motivation to build confidence and promote wellness for aspiring physician assistants and beyond.
Having been a PA for 17+ years and helped hundreds of students gain acceptance into PA school, I understand the admissions process. I know what they are looking for, and I can help you tailor every component to make you shine, giving you the BEST chance of getting accepted to a program. But it doesn't end there. I create personalized plans for PA students and practicing PAs including test-taking strategy for the PANCE, contract negotiations, and tools to overcome and prevent provider burnout.
My goal is to get you into a physician assistant (PA) school & survive the rigorous program, help you prevent burnout as a practicing PA, and help you take care of yourself so you can be the best version of YOU for your patients, family, and most importantly YOU!

One thing I hate about admissions for PA is that prerequisites are so vastly different depending on schools. Some do not even take prerequisites from community college.

Loving your videos!! Thank you for all of your insight. Would you say experience in one type of healthcare for a longer time (4 yrs) or experience in many types of healthcare/ direct patient care for shorter periods (1yr in 4 different positions) is better or worse on an application?

    Thanks for the great video!
I worry so much that when application time comes I wont even get an interview. I'll havey B.S. in psychology: Behavioral science next semester and will only need about 4 more PA school pre requisite courses. I have a 3.72 GPA, and im just starting PCE as a behavior aide in the behavioral health field, working mostly with children and dually diagnosed adults with autism, but I have no volunteer work and im 32 😅. My main concern is that they wont like that my degree is in psychology and that my PCE is in behavioral health 😮‍💨

Can you talk about getting interviews but not getting accepted or a slot?

It is usually related to interview skills in that scenario.
