I think MMDA should consider confiscating the plates as well. I think that will be a better deterant for most kamotes. It will also be easier for enforcers to spot these violators.

They should get some of their people around LITEX Wet market area both northbound and southbound. PUV's are turning the road into a terminal, and they even get to a point that they are already taking over half of the road including the motorcycle lane. And enforcers just turn a blind eye about it.
0:51 Plate covers are fine because they do provide protection from scratches, weather, etc. But they should be clear plastic. NO tinting of any kind. Not even the lightest tint. And the plates must be mounted perpendicular ( at a 90 degree angle ) to the ground. They should not be tilted . Plates cannot be TINTED nor TILTED.
And that's why LTO wanted to ban plate covers, holders etc. Because while some people have legitimate intentions, there's too many people who take it to the extreme, often in an attempt to conceal the plate.

But he was angry that the enforcer tried to apprehend him. It ended with the vehicle being ticketed for coding, failure to show license and reckless driving.

I see this haa been a problem since ages. What must be done to the local baranggay officials that cannot enforce their job by not allowing illegal business on their areas? Most barangays are part of the problem. Besides not doing their job clearing public areas in their barangays, they either get something out of the illegal business or they are part of the illegal business. When they say all levels government have a form of corruption, it starts from the top and trickles down to the bottom aka barangay.

A lot of the time, when I see a slanted sidewalk, I go onto Google Maps (street view) and look at photos from X years ago. A lot of the time, you can see see the original sidewalk that was flat and wide. Then you can see roughly what year it was converted into a parking ramp.

That's the same thing I've said in the past. People shouldn't be allowed to modify the sidewalk. If they want a dropped curb, they should have to ask the City or local DPWH and have it modified for a reasonable fee. Because if you let people do it themselves, they will often do whatever is convenient for their own property, without any regard for pedestrians that rely on that sidewalk.

Most vehicles are claimed back on the same day, or the next day. But occasionally a vehicle won't be claimed. Those are pretty much left to rot into the ground. There are storage fees.

Unless it’s a task force operation, city or mmda traffic enforcers will not apprehend mc riders. They will only apprehend cars where they can make money out of. They know they won’t make money out of most mc riders that’s why they don’t care. And that’s why my most riders don’t care about following traffic rules because most of the time they’ll get away with it.

Unless it’s a task force operation, city or mmda traffic enforcers will not apprehend mc riders. They will only apprehend cars where they can make money out of. They know they won’t make money out of most mc riders that’s why they don’t care. And that’s why my most riders don’t care about following traffic rules because most of the time they’ll get away with it.
