    I just did mine and it is successful. Thanks so much. My camera had the focus issue too, but I tapped it from the sides and then sprayed the air duster in it with the camera facing down, and a chunk of the old glass came out and that solved the issue.

    Perfect. Somehow smashed the lens cover over the weekend WITH a defender case. Smh. This tute worked flawless, and only took like 20 mins. Thanks bro. Didnt want to focus but it's almost like a calibration thing I went to live focus and it zoomed in, fixed itself and boom works on reg photo now. 🤷‍♀️

      Never had a phone break, dent, or crack when using a thin gel case
      The one time I had to use a hard case the impact on the side cracks the screen
      and the only reason my note 9 camera glass broke is cuz I forgot I had keys in same pocket

    I cracked the glass on my Note 9 and started looking for ways to repair it myself. I found a great spot on Amazon to order a replacement from YUYOND. After watching this video it made complete sense and it worked! WELL! I can't even tell the difference now. Thank you for the walk through.

    Why is it not the back glass made out of gorilla Glass

    • @Who-is-Nick

      Bc gorilla glass is already more expensive and try make 500 million phones thst need gorilla glass not so easy

      But it is gorilla glass. Why make replacements out of it if you're gonna break it again? People just need to be more careful instead of using gorillas.

    • @RealWorldReview
      @RealWorldReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly can’t tell if it’s black or blue from the video, but it’s definitely not transparent all the way lol

    • @scarlettohara5096

      @@RealWorldReview how is teh performance. i ve read the reviews on amazon and they were complaining that their cameras stopped focusing, the pictures dont look as clear or crisp, and that light shines a reflection when used where its hit by light or the sun

    • @RealWorldReview
      @RealWorldReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to say. Overall if you’re not buying OEM, then the image and light reaction might be off. As for focusing, that’s because there’s still glass in the camera itself.

    What a lot of people in the comments seem to be missing is that in this process the iris of the camera itself _can_ get dirty. Not sure how safe it is to clean but if you're already poking _a screwdriver_ around the lens why not take the time to _carefully_ clean it before reinstalling the glass? Just a thought.

    • @RealWorldReview
      @RealWorldReview  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try to clean the sensor with a qtip and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. If that doesn’t fix it, you’ll need to replace the entire camera assembly

    You had a hole in your camera cover did you even try to clean the lens? You didn't even suggest for ppl to inspect it. Alcohol and a q tip could possibly help if there was some kind of smudge present but that tooth brush and compressed air just seems like it would get glass in the phone..

    • @RealWorldReview
      @RealWorldReview  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alcohol and a q tip doesn't not loosen up the glass around the camera's lens. That's why you use compressed air and a toothbrush to loosen up the glass stuck in the camera, because that's the reason it doesn't focus.

    intervening like this will give many damages to your camera. you are asking idk why my cam still does not focusing and you already gave your answer already. toothbrushing cam like that will fully fill cam, ois system dust. this is horrible. also you are intervening your cam with screw driver. that is also wrong as f. i suggest people not to do this like him. what is he doing is fully bs.
