I have to say the stax deck made the pod feel so fresh, creating much more politics and exotic lines rather than just jamming toracle for da win after sneaking in a piece of protection, would love to see more of this decks played on the channel (id never in my life want to see them in my pods though)
@@chriswilliams2559 ofc I personally think it's better or I would be on Tymna jeska 😅 Basically I think Dargo supports the deck better than jeska does. You lose inf mana outlet but you deck becomes more layered and you also have some mega rituals. However the deck is harder to pilot. Some games it's really easy but alot of time you need to be really mentally flexible with how you get to the win and also figuring out when to cast Dargo can be really hard
@sPontus that's fair. It's a deck I've wanted to pilot for awhile now. I have gitrog built and mizzix as well. It's always intrigued me with dargo loops but I never fully went in. I'm thinking hoarding broodlord lines with peer into the abyss as a mass draw engine

At 13:15 why not pay 7 life for toxic deluge to get rid of elesh norn as well? The laboratory should be enough to hold opponents back while elesh staying on could help the doc player to get ahead. What am I missing? What's the rationale?
Wondering about that second seven you got there, I would have been greatly tempted to keep it. You mentioned t1 Mystic remora from it, and decided to mulligan, buti think the had was great with a different line: t1 mox diamond, vamp tutor for mana crypt. T2 mana crypt rystic study, if there's a land, also Mystic remora. Otherwise, t3 Mystic remora, and either way, mana crypt keeps it around longer. A little risky for sure, but a very attractive start to me!

just a question for Mons, why are you running Sissay so heavy on creatures and without the typical Planeswalker core that we saw in so many tournaments?
Becouse plainswalkers are bad and as you might have seen I don't get to activate sisay that much. Plainswalkers are good when your able to play turbo and activat sisay a lot. I have a different combo. Algata soulcaldron and just get 5 creatures into play and win. No really all I need are 5 random creatures sisay as a 4/4 and have cualdron in play and 5 mana to activat sisay and I win. It is quite fast and simple to get there and it makes the deck less commander dependent but also I don't need to play bad plainswalkers. In otherwords I disagree with the sissya tournament builds.
@@cedhtvgameplay3974 i'm probably not used to this heavy creatures sissay but i suppose you tutor for Gaea's Craddle -> into Derevi-> emiel with just the needance of 5 creatures and sissay as 4/4. Am i missing other lines?
The War Doctor is a really fun option. I've played a few games with him and gotten kills out of nowhere with his companion as Clara Oswald on black for Necropotence mostly, but in a cEDH context blue is probably better.

Derevi, Yuriko and Pontus are the only three commanders that can completely avoid command tax.

1 damage - small ? from a life total of 17 is about 6.8% so it’s a nice amount for Bowmaster to ping 🤓
