If you want a really easy 800 PP race you definitely should use the Epson NSX '08. It falls under 800 and you don't need to do anything to it. You can easily pass all the opponents at the Sardegna race. And once you reached 1st set the fuel mix 6. This strategy has made me a buttload of money.
Great car, thanx to the last update. Nice car setup, thanx to you. Easy to drive, ont pit stop after lap 3 for fuel and intermediate tires. Rain at lap 5, helped me saving fuel and tires till the end !
In my opinion, it would be great to have another Le Mans event with Group 3 cars instead. I find the Group 4 cars in the 700pp event too easy as they don’t make as much horsepower as the higher group categories. A Le Mans event with GR.3 cars would be more realistic as GT3 cars do compete at the 24 hours of Le Mans. Maybe offer a higher payout if there is a Group 3 Le Mans event.
Been doing that race for money since I got my system and the game 3 months ago. The NSX is a good car for it. Also, I've quite enjoyed building road cars to run, to see how good they do. The Amuse S2000 with the swap is actually pretty good. Almost 5 laps out, pitting in only if you need a tire change. Also, I'm a big fan of the 911 GT3 (997) road car, built out to exactly 700pp. 2 laps on fuel (on fuel mix 6), but it's fast enough to take the field by the start of lap 2. The Pantera, tuned up with the mildly-built Coyote is another good one. the 911 RSR is a great option, too. (I've got over 3k miles on just that one, only from the WTC700 race) And the Jag Gr.3. I even did one in the Renault Megane road car. Also, red bull jr will do the whole race without needing to pit (if it's a dry race and you run it on fuel mix 5 or 6 and short shift)
I personally run the R92CP set to 700pp for Le Mans. It's a total overkill, but such a pleasure to drive. I don’t think there’s anything faster than this Nissan for 700 pp.
I've got a good tune for the GTS-R that ive been tweaking over the weekend, i'll chuck it up on the discord when i finish work - i managed to tame the snap oversteer, fuel usage is good for a one stop strategy as long as you don't get heavy rain.
I usually prefer to farm the 600 and 800 pp events rather than Le Mans, but the upside of Le Mans is that you sometimes get to see the AI struggle super hard during heavy rain, which can be very amusing 😂
I don't know why, I just never like lowering pp so much. even though IT would make me more money.. HONESTLY to me it takes too much playing around to get it perfect. I really don't have the patience.
For me i just like the balance cars or the same car on the same category. I dont like using a powerful car from upper category even tho it help me grind money.

I have 444 cars right now; however I do have a bunch of doubles and even 3 of one car. I’m on a quest to collect all the cars. Saving the VGT cars for the end….I want all the real life cars first. By the way I only drive in VR2. Never going back to flat.

My best event is the gt3 even at sardegna. It requires any car, with raxing tires and less than 800pp. If you get any of the old GT500 cars like the Xanavi Nismo, Denso Sc450 or the raybrig NSX, youre goated. Pays 720,000 and its a 20 min race. I highly recommend the Lexus Sc430 Gr.2 on mediums, dont gotta refuel until 10 laps when the AI refuels every 4 or 5 laps. Easy, fun and simple. No weather managing
Honda RA272 will always be the goat to me for this race. I’ve done the entire race without having to pit once (unless it rains and I need to switch my tires)
I’m not a huge fan of how tedious all the grinding is. I mix it up switching between Le Mans and Sardenga, cycling through all the Gr.1,2,3,4, and B cars I’ve gathered.
I just use the LM55 easy and fast VGT that doesn’t feel like trash when you under power it one of the best cars on the game with the SRT VGT when it comes to grinding
After july update im using Gr2 = Honda = nsx gt500 08 , for lemans 700pp . 1 pit stop strategy . Cars is very fun to drive ,fantastic handling , can you make video for it, mt tunning lacks on top speed .
I would HIGHLY suggest setting the difficulty to Hard. It's not a difficult race. You just have to pay attention to the weather around lap 2/3. Make sure your car can do at least 3 laps (you're typically going to pit around then 90% of the time, anyway, due to weather.) You should have NO problems winning the race, with just about any 700pp car. Either a one stop or a two stop, and you're golden. If you can't tell, I have run this race 100's of times with MANY different cars/trucks. It's one of my favourites. So, yeah.... Hard Difficulty is the way to go. GT7 is one of the few games I own where I almost never lower the difficulty below "hard". The AI requires such measures be taken, unfortunately.
It's doable, but very difficult on the hard difficulty at Sardegna. But I recommend using racing soft tires. This way you're on a 6+6+3 strategy and will match the final pit stop of Portilla in his Viper.
Nah don’t lower it to the 700pp. Its not under powered in the 800 class with high rpm turbo. I just set my PB with this car in sardegna. You can get it up to 775 ish pp and it’s definitely fast enough to beat all its 799 competitors
get the Lexus VGT, set fuel effic to max, ECU tune and power restrict so u can get in the race, switch to IM tired on round 2, never stop for fuel, win race ez clap
I set that race up at least 2 to 3 times a night, while I'm watching something on the telly. Great way to get cash while you're doing something else, so you can afford to buy the cars and parts to do the races you actually WANT to do. Now that I have PSVR 2 I just want to set up different cars for random races/time trials, just to experience the joy of being behind the wheel of them. Incredible experience, that totally changes the game for me.
I can do it 26 minutes Tokyo expressway touring car 600 and I only have to use the brake on one turn 👍not even a close race I beat em by a whole track length..yours is good I'll give ya that but I got ya beat by 4 minutes slick 😎

I can do the track C event in Europe 485,000 race with only 2 stops. and it's much easier and faster than that crap at lemans. its $727,000 with clean race. and its done in less time. plus, no B.S. penalties to deal with. it's about 5 mins faster to finish too. BUT u got a good idea with lowering the fuel lvl to 6 IF we DO THE 700P. i SAW UR '87 NISSAN GSR BUILD. but I hate doing all the down tuning.

I do this with the Red Bull Jr. Int. tires, fist two laps fuel at 6, 3rd lap fuel at 1, no pit stops, easy money!

Imo they should add a 1 hour race in gr1 prototypes.

Non turbo build will do the 7 lap Bathurst race as a zero stop race, auto trans on fuel 6 with 2.10-2.12 laps.

Its worth it for a car thats easy to drive. I do this for the winged tomahawk at the cr.727,000 grind race.

I’ve been doing this same method since the EVO 9 came out.
I do this with the dp100 vgt . It works just as good (for me) as the nsx
I managed to do a 1 stop stratigy with the Ford GTMKV, hard tyres & fuel 6 as the rain was spitty.

My build for the Escudo does Tokyo in around 22 minutes on hard difficulty with only 1 pit stop for a drop of fuel

As much as I like driving this, I realised how difficult it is to go against modern Gr.3 cars with default setup 💀

Ive found that Tokyo Expressway east for the world touring car 600 can be repetitively won with a stock hellcat and a bit of wall riding
Try the Escudo your in first place well before the end of lap 1 on hard difficulty and you only need to pit once on lap 8 or 9 for a drop of fuel

You can make 1.5 mil hr racing Sardegna with the Ford GT 18' race car upgraded to 788pp an only pit twice 15 laps ..an this track only takes 24-27mins
