Winter/spring - popups more curiosity takes Summer/autumn - bottom baits as they are feeding on more freebies/ particles (just a general rule) I’ve had some dreadful times with popups, watching the bottom fizz up like a jacuzzi, fish showing their heads every 5’mins not to get a single bite. Having said that, every water and every fish is different. Only experience and time on bank can solve these dilemmas
So many questions, pop ups attract but i also see a lot of fish stay away from them. Reset aint as important as people always say it is i have had some of my best sessions on bottom bait with braid rigs. Yes you are right in you video but it all come down to the situation. Do i scare the fish when i cast ill have a resetting rig, are the fish feeding slow i use high attract bait (could be a pop up but also can be a wafter or bottom bait) Some waters are beter with pop ups some are better with bottom baits. Some waters are better fishing high vis bait some waters aint. I see a lot of succes in the video but we dont see how many fish didnt take those pop ups
Personally I think pop-up rigs offer a greater chance of remaining effectively presented and have more efficient hooking properties. However, I don't think they're the best when the fish are feeding hard because they can end up sat above the feeding line and if the fish are a bit wary then I feel like the unnatural movement and odd characteristics can be off putting
@@darkmvpchannel6915 I using ronnig from few years, any lost on open water, few in the trees, but even in the trees I landed many fish going to the fish on the slack line.
So much depends on the water. Fish (like most animals) learn from their mistakes and if they’ve been caught on a bright pop up they’ll be super wary next time of anything that resembles a pop up.
Yeah the lake I just started fishing ,pop ups are a waste of time the owner told me this after a few failed attempts,if it's not on the bottom or watfter you got no chance
Top video! Zeer waardevolle info voor mij als beginner :) zou wel graag een video willen zien met allerlei verschillende types rigs en wanneer te gebruiken. Waneer chod, of liever stiff, of de ronnie, etc...
Thanks! We have been filming it underwater before it came on the market. It is not a device that gives you a 100% guarantee, like nothing is. But it seems like the results were better than before.
complete bollocks it might work for easy fish your after nut some of us fish some of the most pressured waters in the UK where bottom baits catch way more than popups
Have you ever fish over weed, I catch big fish on hard water over weed all the time. Can’t do that with bottom bait, this why choddy works too, some water can’t even put bottom bait out,
Great content, lads. Keep them coming as each video gives us a better insight into how these pesty rascals feed and get away with being hooked. And come on the 1 million subs 🎉❤ as I've been following you since the beginning and watched how you've grown. 😀
And I've seen just as many examples of fish not touching anything even a few mm's off the deck and experienced this in real fishing. I know it's all click bait, but you simply can't make blanket statements like this.
I think there is no clear study that explain that popups are better , there is only a better visuel Effect and a better reseteffct if it dont Set a hook. I have waters in Germany where you dont catch and carp with popus ( only the new ones in the water )
I wish you would state the venue fished in these underwater vids, then we would know how pressured the carp are, some of these fish look like they would eat a whole weetabix if it were put on a rig.😉
i should make a video of carp only taking bottom baits, ill call it Why you must use bottom baits over pop ups! yeah they have there plaice but what idiot is only going to use pop ups. i dont want to make a tench atmosphere and i dont want to carp on about it, in fact i feel like ive bream here before. actually ive halibut enough of this.

That's exactly what we see. For example, after pre-baiting, use the same hookbait as you used with baiting.
Would be great if u would show underfishing in rivers ... if its possible. I would love to see how pop up is presented on the bottom of the river.
impossible in river s because the curents are going to kill you
Love this ❤ great video lads I shall continue using all 4 rods on pop ups now without a shadow of a doubt ❤
valid reasons! i would love to see a video on the hinged stiff!
I use pop-up for each bottom structure with ronnie rig presentation. Reset of rig and carp curiosity most important for me.
👊
Started using a d rig or stiff hinge rig ,ronnie rigs been failing me alot of fish due to the hook bead going over the barb
@@darkmvpchannel6915 I using ronnig from few years, any lost on open water, few in the trees, but even in the trees I landed many fish going to the fish on the slack line.
Will use them more now.Thank you 😊

Fish more often eat bait that is slightly floating, in Indonesia many people imitate this for fishing competitions
thank you for the video I like it
Nice and thnx!

Which color are you using in clear water and gravel?
Nice! Amazing quality!🔥
Thanks!

very informative as usuall, TY! Did I see you use the new self hooking device? How was that? How do you feel about it?

Nothing beats pop-ups!
complete bollocks it might work for easy fish your after nut some of us fish some of the most pressured waters in the UK where bottom baits catch way more than popups
Plus for over a gazillion years people have caught shedloads on the bottom.
Some nice footage here though .
I spring them pressured carp will still suck in a pop up 😂 end of April get on the bottom baits

I agree....im from Holland, where i fish...better keep youre bait on bottom, difficult water and zigs here do not work

Thanks for your support. It will be a special moment when we reach 1 million subs❤
Have you heard of the hermit rig with the elastic through the lead it looks wicked 🎣🐟👍🏻
Great Tip
👊
It’s different wen ya placing a rig down yo casting it out
Mooi werk jongens. Ik stel de slip D rig en de longshank blowback rig met een snowman voor. groetjes uit BE
A legjobbak vagytok!!!
In your experience, what should you feed the fishing point to best attract carp? Name top 3 pls
What is the size of the popup in the video?
What is the name of that bait
Valid reason...
Fantastic...

Nice 🎉🎉
Hello 👋 please hook size carp
what do you mean?
Do you also fish pop ups over night?
I think there is no clear study that explain that popups are better , there is only a better visuel Effect and a better reseteffct if it dont Set a hook. I have waters in Germany where you dont catch and carp with popus ( only the new ones in the water )
Could you give me bait ingredient please..

Chod, simpelweg meest effectieve

I now very seldom use pop ups or wafters. My catch rate has gone up loads since just using bottom baits.
