- Can we catch the biggest carp ever in front of an underwater camera? After many years of trying, we finally have the change to catch the fish of a lifetime and the BIGGEST carp EVER caught in front of the underwater camera!
We are fishing in the France Alps to test a new product for our friends from OMC. This video is the first time we can show the world this special product named the Magic Twig, formerly known as product X. A product we have been testing for several months with tremendous results.

Hey guys, great video.. I was wondering if you could share the set up used to record these videos underwater? There is a tough lake I have fished all my life with absolute monsters in it (seldom caught if at all), I would love to lay eyes on them in some of their favorite snags and this looks like it would do the job!

This is not the one on the package. That one was caught by Bobby, while we filmed it underwater. This is likely the second biggest carp ever hooked in front of an underwater camera.

So what do you think of the ‘magic wand?’ I see there were a few aborted tales do you think it improved your bite to landing ratio? Great video
Our test results are actually pretty good. During our tests we get way more aggressive takes and less fish trying to use the lead to lose the hook. This give you an enormous advantage when every % count to catch carp. But imo you should not think this is a magic device that hooks every fish automatically for you.
You see in the video that if there is not enough tension on the Magic Twig (because the lead is still partly on the ground) it doesn't get activated. Or when the hook penatrates in the side of the mouth, you can still lose the fish.
So concluding, our experiences are really good so far, but don't expect a rig that hooks 100% of the fish. There are still enough other variables that determine if you hook and land a fish.

You do realise that when carp anglers catch carp we catch and release to swim another day and also treat any damage to the fish that may not have happend while catching the fish.
when carp spawn they get lots of scratches scrapes and lifted scales, when these fish get caught a month or so after spawning we treat their lip where the hook was and we also treat any wounds they may have or infections with propolis liquid antiseptic, the hook going into the fish would be the equivalent of us having an injection or having blood taken it doesnt hurt them if they are played in properly and not savagely dragged in

Im an Angler myself, but i think this is Kind of Pervert. You know you wont eat the fish, what you do only results in pain for the fish without a proper reason. What is your reason for this? Because it is fun or excitment to you? When I fish, I eat it
in 2030 we will go with a remote-controlled fishing rod and enter the mouth of a carp when it is sleeping... fishing is becoming more and more boring
