Oh my goodness, thank you, thank you, you beautiful soul. I have been suffering with all these symptoms for 18 years. I know now I’m not lazy or insane you have settle me with your wonderful knowledge that I can work on in the future ☺️😇🌻🌈🦋 much love to you Dr Sullivan 💖🥰
I just started watching this video and I believe this is God's mission in life for you. Especially after the last few yrs. Docs (some) just don't listen or care anymore. Or you are not rich enough to pay for good medical help. Bedside manner also cost more now. Thank you! God Bless you!
Very helpful. Thank you very much. Everything you've said I've encountered struggling to recover. It's all there. Thank you for not leaving it out it is very hard to voice just how to deal with a stroke. I still haven't even figured it out yet but not giving up is key. Yours superpower has to be the ability to never quit. Sooner or later you we'll see light at the end of the tunnel. It's just a matter of when I've always felt that someone advising on what to do about a stroke has no clue unless they've ever had one because it's so difficult to understand just what it is like. Once again, thank you. I enjoyed your enthusiasm for talking about being a stroke survivor
I am so grateful for all your information. This one on fatigue has been a blessing. I now feel I can accept and understand this part of my journey. With the understanding and tools you provide with each topic I thank you immensely ❤️
This explains so much for me as my husbands caregiver. He a is 47 yr old open heart surgery with a cerebellum stroke survivor, and so tired all the time. I was sure he had suffered another stroke or something else until I came across this and I want to thank you. This video and the one about cerebellum strokes have helped me to care for him with hope and a new outlook for him having a productive life some day.
I want to mention something about depression. Sometimes, you don't have it right away. But, the constant knocking down suffered because of neuro fatigue will allow it develop because of the constant "failure" of you brain and body. I suffered a small stroke in 2010. Five years later, a neurologist prescribed an anti-depressant. I was amazed to discover just how dark my mental state had become---well hidden behind the daily "I'm OK" mask.
my stroke was six weeks ago. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner I liken the neural fatigue to an infant- while they are learning and creating pathways for their major milestones, they go go go then crash, needing multiple NONOPTIONAL naps daily then long periods of nighttime sleep. everything takes at least five times as much mental energy than normally needed by adults.
Four years on post 3 strokes- feel so so fatigued. This stops me doing a lot of stuff. I ve learnt to rest & make choices about activities. Thanks for your great video😅
So glad to find this. Gives me hope. May 27th will be 1yr post SAH Very lucky Only some minor memory issues a few cognitive/organizational/decision making issues that I thought were just increased Trauma fm pre existing CPTSD. But this Fatigue!! I want the energy to travel & shopping trips burn me out. I've turned into a couch potato 🙄 Don't think I'm depressed I've been there. I'm content & grateful I just want the energy to do some things.

nutritionally, i have a morning drink of turmeric, ginger, cayenne, vit D, vit E, milk thistle, collagen, ginkgo, acv, water, fish oil, lemon juice. i do not eat breakfast. for lunch i have a small smoothie made with homemade yogurt, berries, a dash of homemade vanilla extract, and ice. with it i take two capsules of powdered freeze dried super fruit. my predinner consists of two capsules of powdered dried supergreens , taken with one of my 16 c of water per day. dinner is either a piece of chicken or fish, a steamed broccoli or other healthy veg, followed later by cup of hot green tea

I'm having hot and cold feelings shocking, pinching feelings in my head. Don't know what it ease and I felt fatigue as if I was going to loose my mind
Don’t loose your mind. Is is physical pain ? Or emotional pain.
I use ice in my head. I cry a lot to relieve that pressure. Feel better. Ok ?
