Wow!!! The first print, I was thinking, “what the heck is she complaining about. It’s a gorgeous print!” Then I saw the second print... holy-saturation-moly! GORGEOUS! Thanks for the huge tip! Paper is def a make or break difference for us artists printing work. Blessings!

I've been using Red River for a while to print my watercolor paintings and it is amazing. People have even asked "Is that a print?" That's how good it is.

Thanks so much for this video. I’m just getting into printing at home, and this video cleared up a lot of questions I had about paper. You totally sold me on Red River paper!

I just bought an epson printer but I got The eco tank 2803 .prior to this we had a really basic one and I was burning through the cartridges like crazy. The amount of cartridges I used we’d Cost me just as much as the new printer. Anyway, I was Wondering which laptop do you have? I just learned
About the 100% cotton canvas sheets. Haven’t
    Tried it yet,I’m
Still learning my printer and trying various
Sizes and so Forth using my phone for Now. I have a 6 year old touch screen laptop but hubby doesn’t think it’s good enough with only 8GB and very slow
    Speed.
Is there one You recommend? I just started this new hobby of transferring (after printing) my photos
    Onto canvases.

Thank you so much! After investing in display calibrators, pantone ink books, and different epson and canon paper...I was looking into Red River as their name came up a few times in reviews... I am so happy I saw this video! I was also impressed with their icc profiles for their papers... I am interested to see how their paper prints with ET8550... so far the papers I tried looked dull as you said... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Hi Peggy! Do you know if we can use regular watercolor paper to print prints at home? Say, Arches or Baohong, the same 100% cotton paper we use to paint?

    Thanks for video.
I agree 100% that Red River is the best paper around. I discovered it several years ago when I had a letterpress and fell in love with the quality. I use it now for art prints and greeting cards.

✨💖✨I have my sample packs in my cart now! Thank you!
Update on my sample pack (I ordered one for photos and one for fine art) Holy moly! Beautiful results. The sample packs are well worth it. Originally I had printed some art photos I did of my dogs and printed them on linen resume paper-I love the color depth you can get with linen. So immediately printed the same photos on the Linen Red River 2.0 paper (a photo paper). The results were phenomenal. Immediately ordered a box.

Thank you ever so much Peggy as @AD said ever so grateful for artists like you taking the time and effort to share your knowledge with us. I’m believing in you ,just used our anniversary “have dinner on us from dad $” and ordered the Epson 🖨. Should be here next week 🥳.Now to get paper. I can get discount prints from work (you were in my silk scarf workshop) but I’ve been so frustrated with the prints have decided to take matters into my own hands. I believe in you . Will try to make you proud.

Woman, thanks for that video. Figuring out what paper to use for my art wk. has been challenging to say the least.
2 Questions: Can you buy the paper at stores or only online? Do you teach classes?

To be totally honest, you truly get what you pay for in those all-in-one solutions. They're great for quick print offs, but if you're looking for good quality, it's worth it to get a printer that is meant to perform specifically for printing!

    • @ThePigeonLetters

I tried CISS for a while and was just never able to replicate the printing that the regular epson cartridges do. I know some ppl have had good experiences but I opted to go back to the actual standard (aka rip off 😂) ones.
