Thanks for making this video! I was able to avoid taking out the speaker on mine. At 3:25 on the left just outside of the view of the camera there's a hole in the door panel. The original cable was threaded through there. If you bend the replacement cable near the connector into an L-shape, you can get the cable to catch on that hole pretty easily. And from there it can go straight to the connector.
So I came out here looking for a video like this thinking I was going to go through 10 to 20 of them till I find a good one this is the first video that popped up and it was perfect I just got done changing mine it was exactly like you should change it did a good job thanks for the video
Video very helpful and compared to several others well shot and narrated. Good thing the connectors in the door were well attached to the door as getting the angle right on re-installing the connector was the most difficult part of the procedure. Small hands help but used a sponge forcep finally to push the connector closed. All the electrics worked perfectly. Judging from the stickers on the OEM removed mirror it was made by an Italian firm (doh!!).
The mirror with motor and heaters are around $280-400 as of 06-26-2024. Bought a really great shape used one for $91 and just got it today. Going to try the instructions he gives. Seems simple enough. I think my speakers are different. I have 2022
Could be when a blinker is super fast it means your REAR brake/blinker light is out on whatever side the fast blinker is. Pretty standard on all vehicles. Example: Driver side blinker is super fast then more than likely your driver side brake light or blinker is out. Replace and it will go back to normal. Could be a connection but Everytime my blinker is FAST it meant I had a rear blinker light bulb or brake light bulb burnt out
Just got mine on eBay 2022 Ram ProMaster 2500 for $91 plus shipping. Make sure your mirrors match. I almost ordered the wrong one. I didn't know there were short foldable and a longer foldable. Look completely different. Good luck

If I bought a replacement with the automatic closure but my is manual, will it work on mine? I only have one harness in the replacement. Thanks
