So I bought these mirrors off an individual super cheap but the passenger side just needed this big glass. Noticed that I does not have the motor mount A or B. Is this a part I can order? Thanks
Bought the glass for the Type B, but there is no backing plate for it. does it not come with the glass? completely unable to find the type B backing plate anywhere online.
I have motor type B but my center peice does not simply pop out, it seems glued to the back of the oem glass making it much more difficult to take out ! Any solutions?
@@boostautoparts so the only way to change the bulb is to break the mirror first, then get a replacement? Mine doesn't come off like the first one. I would have to break it, then replace the mirror. Can I change the bulb if the big mirror was out?
@@jsmith816 To replace the light you need to access the screw. Removing the big mirror would result in no improvement. You might be able to snake a screwdriver around the lower glass, but unlikely so if your glass is not removable you would need to punch out the center of it and remove the screw. Then you would install our mount and lower glass and it would become serviceable, so in the future you could simply snap the glass off. Our mirrors and OEM mirrors both have removable glass, but some aftermarket companies make their glass non-removable to save cost.
