      Business isn't always easy, but it is always simple. Problem = solution. People need cleaning, and you have a cleaning business. And the more people you get in front of, the more business you will get. Trust me. Keep at it!

    I really want to turn my love for cleaning into my job. How do I price cleaning or know how much to clean at each house? Thank you so much for your videos

      Do it! Basically it comes down to hourly rate x length of job. How long the job is, is based on the task list. So just ask every new client what they're wanting you to do. And you don't always tell your client your hourly rate, but you use it as a way to calculate your bids. :-)

    Question: should I get an llc for my cleaning business or it depends? Also do you know if it’s ok to start with a DBA then switch to a LLC ?

    • @TheProfessionalCleaner
      @TheProfessionalCleaner  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I recommend LLCs for the protection it provides, but I started as a DBA over 20 years ago and it served me fine for a while until I went LLC. But General Liability insurance is def required from Day 1. :-)

    I have a question: starting a new cleaning company, should my name be generic and boring, or unique/stands out? My boyfriend thinks our initials BB Cleaning is perfect. But, I want to be unique and memorable and create a brand. Something like Happy Lion Cleaning or Good Life Cleaning. Is it wise to make a brand name or make it simple? Thank you

      Great question! My take is... A) if you plan on keeping and operating the business long term, then it matters very little what you call it. That said there are advantages if you are already 1000000% sure what niche you want to do, incorporating that. Say you clean medical offices, then something like MediClean. But most don't know their niche in the early days so don't lock yourself in too early. And B) if you plan on ever selling the business, then I would def try to build a brand bc that would just be more attractive to potential buyers. :-) Hope that helps!

      Oh and my biz is a branded name. I don't make it public, bc I don't want my following blowing up that site with form requests. But it's a branded name. However when I first started and did luxury residential, I just used my name, and that was fine too. :-)

    Does this course talk about how to market your business and gain more clients? I think that's where I am stuck, getting my business in front of potential clients
