let me explain: China has the world's largest population, most of that population is males (thanks to China one child policy).. so what you have is alot of men who work and have lots of disposable income, mainly because they don't have any children or a girlfriend.. even if all the single women in China was currently to turn into prostitutes there still wouldn't be enough to go around, its said that over 50million men in China will die virgins (and its not by choice).. truth is women in China ain't even going to look at them because they don't make enough money (yeah, i'm not going to go too much into that but it is what it is) so the money they work for they spend it behind smoking, drinking, gambling and watching movies and sports among other entertainment (they're the largest group of the audience, they're the cash cow)... this is why the NBA, WWE, NFL etc etc all went to China to make a good impression and you would even see some big name actors from America making commercials for China...
so do you honestly think that a film that tries to be PC and show an empowered woman as the lead role will go down well with these men?? there is alot of resentment... also in China they didn't show the trailers for these movies, the movie posters was also changed for China so that is why you will find that her 2nd (the last Jedi) and 3rd (Skywalker) Starwars movies only pulled in around 1/2 the amt of cash as the 1st (Force awakens)... oh and Disney has been watching these numbers too and the way the flims is marketed, so she can be PC and jobless or she can make movies that single resentful men will enjoy....

I have the original Indiana Jones movies on right now. Weird seeing KK's name in the credits all the way back in the 80s knowing what we know now.
I watched "Temple of Doom" the other day. I agree, it's a bit jarring seeing her name splashed across the screen in the opening credits, ahead of all of the people who actually made the movie. Just remember that where it says "Associate Producer", it should read "coffee maker for the people with real talent and creativity".

Until I saw this video I didn't realize how openly Kennedy has been stating for years that she was 'deconstructing' normal in favor of her girl boss agenda. Disney management must have been aware of and supporting this so they deserve the losses and looming troubles coming their way.

I like not knowing after 3 films who Snoke was, how the Emperor survived, who the Knights of Ren were, why Luke Skywalker wanted to disappear and yet left a map of where to find him just in case, how Finn and Rey became two goodie two-shoes with zero examples in their childhoods/lives to emulate, why Finn was opposed to killing for five minutes and then perfectly okay with killing his former comrades, why the Rebellion left a largely intact Death Star exist without completely destroying it (for a second time) and other questions like this.
The sad thing about the last jedi is that that's exactly how it is in the workforce these days. These movies are a living daily horror story.
