Hiya mate, I'm pretty new to pike fishing, I used to live almost on the bank of the river Ure in Boroughbridge, I enjoyed some cracking pike fishing, 6 in one session no monsters all 10-15lb, I've recently moved, now I'm almost on the banks of the urban river tees, it is really deep 30ft, limited places to fish because of the high walls and railings, how would you start to tackle it, any advice would be appreciated.

When the season starts again Oct/Nov - I'd look for shallow areas keeping things simple / ledgers deadbaits with dropoff indicators , and move frequently if theres no action, eventually youll stumble across some bigguns mate

There are man made canals that come off the main river, do you think the pike would prefer that environment as apposed to a 30ft deep river, I'm going to try and do some watching over the summer months, looking for bait fish etc, the river itself is so wide and deep, it seems a massive task.
