The entirety of Red Velvet’s REALLY BAD BOY reminds me of section of the game, “what remains of Edith Finch”. Barbra Finch to be exact.. (spoiler) the game is about how each family members dies, and Barbra story has a more 80s horror concept. Revealing her story in the form of a comic book. Werewolves, screams, horror, and loud colors.. I love connecting Art to art. 🎉😊
i feel like bugaboo's film reference could be towards stephen king's "it"? it was mentioned that the girls had like, different weapons and they were fighting off their fears? well, in "it" the group of kids survive the attacks of pennywise through overcoming their fears and not being scared?? idk, but thats what i think for bugaboo!
i feel like memem was such a perfect way for purple kiss to capitalize off of hide & seek, but rbw just messed it up 🙄 i like 5/7 songs off the album, but it’s so messy i have no idea what the company was thinking.
the hush rush music video very much LACKED. it was cute, but meh. i do ADORE the editing & styling. i think a better version would’ve been that vampire chaeyeon won an all expense paid trip to meet a band she saw on tv.
what do you think of geekyland by purplekiss? i personally love it & feel like it was sort of a redemption after memem, but it’s a bit messy especially in terms of styling.
