Just when I thought I couldn’t come to love and care for a character as much as I did for Wanda in Wandavision, now I love Marc Spector AND Steven Grant just as much. I did not expect Moon Knight to make me cry as hard as episode 8 of Wandavision, but here I am, with a eyes red and raw from wiping tears away. Hey, Magy! An emotional wringer this week! Great performances by Isaac, Hawke and Fernanda Andrade in this episode! Loved the unhinged, hysterical head-slapping. Truth is scary stuff. This entire episode is heavily based on the Jeff Lemire sanitarium run in the comics. The Duat mindscape is the Egyptian netherworld as Steven perceives it and the Asylum mindscape is the Spector ego's more mundane construct as Marc perceives it with Taweret and Harrow serving as the superego to guide Marc's selves toward unification. Marc is bleeding out in Alexander's tomb in physical reality. JAKE LOCKLEY APPEARED! He was the version of Marc with the broken nose! Loved the barge sailing over a sea of sand! Reminded me of the alien ships from Ray Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles". The scales are employed to weigh the hearts against the feather but WHY is Taweret subbing for Anubis? Has the Lord of the Underworld been locked in an ushabti? The ancestral plane of Wakanda is mentioned by Taweret as one of many intersectional planes of untethered consciousness! Harrow as Ned Flanders! Lol. Gut-wrenching flashbacks to mom Fernanda Andrade's emotional abuse and profound grief! I'm glad that they kept Marc Jewish in the show because it's intrinsic to his character. The family is shown sitting shiva and Marc wears a yarmulke. In the comics, his father is a rabbi. Brother Randall is from the comics but he doesn't die as a boy. He becomes the villain Shadow Knight! We see the birth of Moon Knight! Did Khonshu take advantage of Marc or give him a shot at redemption? It's a bit of both. Bushman is named as Marc's murderer. Steven finds his inner butch! Will we get to see the psychopathic Raoul Bushman in the flesh? We see the origin of Steven but what about Jake's origin? Is Steven really gone for good? Will Marc want to leave the serenity of the Reeds? Can Layla free Khonshu by herself?
If you wanna see a young Dr. Harrow, the movie Dead Poets Society with Robin Williams has an itty bitty Ethan Hawk in it. One of the best movies of all time. I think you'd love it. For prime Ethan Hawk... Training Day.
Hello magy , love the reaction and btw , there is a movie called Uncharted starring Tom Holland It's a great movie , it would be great if you actually do a reaction to it ❤️🙏
they saidn that they aren't recasting Tchalla, but i want John David Washington from TeneT to play him, and Mark can meet him in the afterlife, if they kill off Tchalla in the beginning of Black Panther 2, and Mark can bring Tchalla back to life on the boat.
Chadwick boseman didn't want the role of black panther to die with him. He made that clear multiple times while he was alive. Kinda weird for them to actively go against what he wanted.
i thought maybe they were stepbrothers, and the little brother was the mom's son and mark/steven were the dad's son. they looked different . but i thought at first that the little brother was mark/steven, because the older brother seemed like a jerk, leaving the picnic dinner right when the food was ready. and i thought the little brother was steven because steven is so nice, not a jerk.
for those who didn't understand the balance was not balanced because Marc and Steven are the same person, and being both on a plane of souls, the balance could not differentiate between Steven and Marc, so it was necessary for Steven to die
2 funny things to look at. The scale looks like the intro to the soap opera "Days of our Lives", of course it isn't, aha. Then he ends up on the yellow brick road close to The Wizard of Oz. Not correct, but a funny way to look at it... maybe Ozzy Osbourne?
"beyond the sun, beyond the sun, I have a home, home, beautiful home beyond the sun"----- this is what the final song says, it is a popular song of the church in Mexico
I think this show has the 2nd or only one crazy episode ever which is probably the 5th episode because Marc Spector and Steven Grant were great together even though they were having problems, But still, Great reaction Magy,
We haven't seen Jake Lockley yet (or have we?) I think Marc created Jake Lockley not Steven in that room as a child to deal coping with his Mother beating him. Steven doesn't remember that and seems to remember a loving Mother not a cruel one as we see Marc turn to Steven start to talk on his cell outside the funeral to his Mother not realizing there is no answer. Also we have seen in this episode not just Marc and Steven talking to Doctor Harrow in the Asylum but possibly Jake (the patient with the broken nose) as well. His name has not been said yet but it's been implied he's been there.
OMG.. you should be an anime character! LOL.. much love dear! love the reactions.. and really love sharing these with you. (also makes me feel like i am not the only one crying sometimes)
Anyone heard of Moonwing? He is a mixture of Moon Knight and Nightwing he looks pretty cool also Magy you should react to Young Justice it's really good
I don't know much Dissociative Identity Disorder, but damn I really think they hit the nail on the head with this episode, the trauma Marc went through with Randall, his b*tch of a mother, the beatings, creating Steven as a form of escapism....... this episode broke me, man. In a good way
Pure speculation but it seems like they both accepted that they aren't separate "parts", but they are the same and that was the balance. Stephen is Marc and Marc is Stephen. If that is the case then I am really looking forward to Oscar Isaac's performance in this last episode! Oh hell who am I kidding? I'm looking forward to it regardless!!!!! This show is really surpassing all expectation and I can't wait to see how they bring the character full into the rest of the MCU!

"...it must be suck, to be rejected from the field of reeds"
"wait, im not dead, am i?"
-the only god knows who's frickin avatar that is on episode 1
This episode just showed how messed up Marc's mind and life is and I thought Wanda had it bad
Wanda: I have the most tragic back story.
Marc : Hold my kippah.
If you wanna see a young Dr. Harrow, the movie Dead Poets Society with Robin Williams has an itty bitty Ethan Hawk in it. One of the best movies of all time. I think you'd love it. For prime Ethan Hawk... Training Day.
Hello magy , love the reaction and btw , there is a movie called Uncharted starring Tom Holland
It's a great movie , it would be great if you actually do a reaction to it ❤️🙏
Yes magy should defenitly watch it, it's not the greatest movie ever or something but it's sure entertaining!
Absolutely true , i don't care about what people say about it, i honestly enjoyed it a lot
they saidn that they aren't recasting Tchalla, but i want John David Washington from TeneT to play him, and Mark can meet him in the afterlife, if they kill off Tchalla in the beginning of Black Panther 2, and Mark can bring Tchalla back to life on the boat.
Layla's father & the team were not killed by Jake
Marc's Partner Bushman killed them & beated up Marc also & leave him there to die
Not me crying watching the episode and then again during the reaction. Geez.
you are not alone, I was trying to hold tears thinking I will look as a baby😅😂
@@MagicMagy Marvel really knows how to chop the onions lol 😩😂
for those who didn't understand
the balance was not balanced because Marc and Steven are the same person, and being both on a plane of souls, the balance could not differentiate between Steven and Marc, so it was necessary for Steven to die
2 funny things to look at. The scale looks like the intro to the soap opera "Days of our Lives", of course it isn't, aha. Then he ends up on the yellow brick road close to The Wizard of Oz. Not correct, but a funny way to look at it... maybe Ozzy Osbourne?
This movie was interesting to see magy it is nice to see ya
Oscar Isaac deserves an Emmy for this
Another good episode!!
Grief neither excuses nor explains abuse of that magnitude and for that duration.
"beyond the sun, beyond the sun, I have a home, home, beautiful home beyond the sun"----- this is what the final song says, it is a popular song of the church in Mexico
I love it this reaction on episode 5 but waiting for new episode on reaction to see you . 😎😎😎
RIP Steven Grant for now.
His name has not been said yet but it's been implied he's been there.
in the 4th episode, they passed a room with another sarcopagus? with some one else in it that they didn't bother to let out before they met miss Hippo
Those zombies weren’t coming for Steven, if you noticed they only ever attacked Marc!
Nice reaction, every video you react is always cute, funny, nice reaction, Keep it up 👍 , I love you ❤️😄
"Wait, you cannot die for a second time, right?"
(Wanda cringes, Vision shrugs)
Too soon?
this was followed by oh no they can😂but the editor cut it unfortunately haha
@@MagicMagy 😂 Thrown under the bus by the editor. lol
@@jdovma1 totally on perpose for sure hahah
OMG.. you should be an anime character! LOL.. much love dear! love the reactions.. and really love sharing these with you.
In a good way
❤️❤️❤️❤️
been waiting for this since i watch it
Pure speculation but it seems like they both accepted that they aren't separate "parts", but they are the same and that was the balance.
Not Steven 😭
Fugindo do contexto...essa mulher é muito linda Vey
Reaction the man with the iron fists please 🙏🙏🙏
We got bingbonged 😢
1 more episode? Dang it's crazy that Netflix canceled projects after it lost subscribers, so I'm curious how Disney plus handles their platform moving foward. If more streaming services would be willing to do projects as unknown and risky as this. I wonder if next episode ends with possible open ended possibilities for the series to continue
hmmm this sounds bad, what happened?
@@MagicMagy they pretty much confirmed it as a limited series, so, this season and that's it. of course it's not excluded for the character to show up in other marvel movies/tv shows. hawkeye is also a limited series.
@@MagicMagy they are gonna stop allowing people to share accounts with others and their prices have been going up. Their stocks plummeted when they lost a ton of subscribers
@@Alexszander It has not been confirmed that Moon Knight is a limited series
It is confirmed that Hawkeye is a limited series but Moon Knight isn't
But for sure we are gonna see Kate Bishop in future movies or different shows
May be we will see Moon Knight in future shows or movies
@@MagicMagy please react to eight below 2006 starring Paul walker. It is based on a true story.
poor steven got "squid gamed". the writers built a character that viewers would sympathize with and root for, just to kill him off to extract maximum pathos from the audience.
So we finally meet the 3rd guy.
marc said his mother beat him, not he killed his little brother, he didn't take responsibility for it.
Magy: "He had to get rid of steven to be whole again?"
I mean.. Steven was never 'real' to begin with. It was just Marc playing pretend.
Marc revealed the truth to Steven. Marc is ready to stop playing pretend and start his healing process. So, he has no need for Steven. He is leaving him behind.
I don’t know how I feel about the fact that the scales wouldn’t balance until Steven died. That feels… weird. I thought acceptance would be what finally did it.
This is a tuff one…
I fear Layla is going to die, which will cause Mark to not want to deal with his anger, and Jake becomes in control.
Steven was the best part of Mark I refuse to believe he is dead.
Woww I really loved ur reaction 😍😍, please watch and react to the movie "KGF Chapter 1" its such a great movie to react, u will love that
Nice
Magy, watch the beginning again. Which personality is Oscar showing in doctor's office. It's only at the the start of the episode.
I'm happy Moon Knight got picked up. I have Disassociation too but not Dissociative Identity Disorder. Moon Knight will hep bring more awareness to the family of Dissociative Disorders.
There is no point of Steven to exist now bcz he came to know about the truth, the trauma
Will Steven return🥺
I sure hope so 🙏🤞.
How do you know about Jake the third personality?
Obviously the comments lol logical
She even said it somewhere
MAGY REACT TO MILLION DOLLAR BABY(2004) PLEASE!
Can you react to 3 idiots? I love to see your reaction tobthat movie
