I use Vietnamese fish sauce for my lures. Its just sardine oil and salt. Works like a charm. If you have ever used those soft catfish baits like dough thats what it smells like.

What’s your opinion on chumming with menhaden oil since Berkley says fish can’t smell oil. I’m a freshwater angler and never used it. I’d like to soak a cotton ball in it and test that theory on catfish since they can really pick up on smells.

I have a question in my country there arent scent for lures so i was wondering can i use a carp scent liquid on lure should i dip it on the spot or put it a day before or create a oil based scent by mixing garlic powder and simple oil

There are some lures that are sold in scent oil. And some lures come in packages with a little scent added. We also add it on the spot. Not all lures should be soaked for extended periods of time...it can effect the plastic material that the lure is made from and cause it to break down.

Biggest thing I've found since I started adding Dr juice scent to my lures is I catch more trash fish like stingrays and catfish never knew a ray would hit plastics till I added scent. Did they happen to check line conditioners like KVD line and lure or lews speed cast conditioner?

Other countries get annoyed we call em' trash fish since they eat everything ha. Interesting to know about the scent. I bought some of that pricey procure but I don't use lures very much so I don't have an opinion yet.

I usually inject my water based juice into the lure with a syringe and needle... lasts much much longer
