  • Making my own fish attractant. Great for masking our odors or bringing in fish from a mile away. I use this on jigs, swim baits, jika rigs, senkos, and especially tubes.
    Ingredients:
    Salt
    Garlic
    Garlic Powder
    Lemon Gelatin Powder

Tube or crawfish plastics with a body hole can be stuffed with cotton balls drenched in scent. Rotten real crawfish but minhaden oil. Now your plastic crawfish? Looks real, feels real, smells real & puts out a massive rainbows slow bottom bouncing. Just a kookie idea?

Make your own Pro Cure! Nice idea but do not use gelatin/gelatine because it is insoluble in water meaning that the scent which you so carefully add stays locked up in your attractant. Use Xanthum Gum with glycerine. The glycerine holds the XG in suspension so that when you add water the it thickens and the viscosity allows for slow release.
Likewise do not use OIL of any description because oil floats meaning that the nice tuna oil attractant floats on the surface of the water. If your fish are in the centre or at the bottom of the water column they miss your fish attractant.

  • @drpk6514
    @drpk6514 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

I think Tuna oil from the tuna can would be useful.
DMPT is one of the best-known attractants.
For garlic, you can use Allicin.
I dont think it was necessary to destroy that blende.

dont use iodised salt the fish hate it, also the sugar will scare the fish because fish skin has sugars in it that are released when a fish is injured, so basically sugar = danger for fish

    • @paulraymond1804

Had me laughing at the garlic jar teeth opening! 😂
I’ve never used scent before. I’ll try this recipe.
The extra would go really well in many human meal recipes (in small amounts!).

A saw three guys catching over 40 bluegill with just galic scent and worms. It works!

You can also add a bit of red food coloring fish love red. And a small funnel would help placement in the container.

You can put it all over your soft plastics, and it works well. My favorite is to put a good bit in my tube baits.

this one i put it right up there with th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZsP5007SWHkNPz_ZJyGFM7rFcK3anj7e recommend it’s gulp Craw fish and i'll keep using it till it quit's working. with this and Gulp Crawfish Attractant if the Smallmouth aren't biting it means there not going to bite anything. But if they are biting if you've got these two Attractants you're going to catch Smallmouth Bass and more than likely a lot of them.
