Although as you mentioned his UI ability isn't reliable, but i take he is a defensive countering character (using the combos you demonstrated) you can counter accordingly.
They made sign a more countering character because in the Anime and Manga it was apparent that he could not control himself very well. Only the fact that his instincts were on another level. They made MUI offensive heavy because that’s when he had complete control.

Yup. You want to wait for the circle to shrink inside the smaller circle before pressing the first square. Sometimes when you’re mashing Square before the clash happens, you end up pressing it at the earliest time, which is bad lol.

Hey @AfroSenju, the Dragon Rush impact/interaction has two phases. In the first phase you need to time the square so that the circle that is getting smaller in radius is as close to the size of the inner circle. Then in the second phase it's about button mashing. I kept losing these interactions, until I realized this.

You can just side step , vanish , or directional block the light smash attack tldr doing combos that way is a quick way to get your ass beat. Biggest prio to even do a combo is get their back, at that point they can only perfect counter out of it, which at that point you mix up square and triangle attacks after a series of three you can kick upwards and follow with a square chain until they get knocked away then follow with a beam type attack. This route is the safest and has least defensive option for the opponent

He is just holding B or O. Using those combo extensions someone can just hold perception on you and get that animation every time u extend the combo if they have skill bar and if your infront of them. They don’t have to guess you.
Afro just a heads up after watching the start, you can go to control explanation in the start menu, go to rush combos and it will tell you all your strings and their finishers for each string
another tip for extending combos if you slightly hold rush attack (square or x) you will do a heavy that doesn’t move the opponent, only stuns them slightly allowing a basic combo reset
Just so some people are aware, you CAN break out of that combo he's doing. It's a super counter (Up+Square for Standard Controls). Between that and High Speed Movement, you've got two options to get out of that BEFORE the lil guessing game he's talking about:)

For example: bardock is 2 square presses then triangle then 3 square presses then triangle but metal cooler is 4 square presses then triangle THEN 2 square presses and triangle. Im currently 37-0 on ranked as a bt3 vet maining Ui. The combo extension youre showing is the same in bt3, alot of the combo mechnics were carried over but not explained in Sparking zero. Also some small details you might miss afro is Transforming as UI gives you a extra bar of health AND fills your ki to full

Im currently 37-0 on ranked as a bt3 vet maining Ui. The combo extension youre showing is the same in bt3, alot of the combo mechnics were carried over but not explained in Sparking zero. Also some small details you might miss afro is Transforming as UI gives you a extra bar of health AND fills your ki to full
U I. Goku is hella broken, and all I have seen is you people brag about using one of the characters with the highest DP and acting like y'all are good. Have seen nothing but U.I. Goku in ranked. Told y'all this unbalanced shit was going to be a problem.
