@@StevenJones851 the only villain he actually has beat by himself was frieza and even then didn't kill him he gets beat by raditz, and great ape vegeta, his body got switched with and beat up, and gets pushed around by final form frieza, he gets beat by android 19, and doesn't win against cell, plus dies, he is evenly matched with majin vegeta, doesn't beat majin buu or kid buu and needs everyone's help to beat him, he loses to beerus very embarrassingly, and doesn't win with ssg, gets beat around by golden frieza, stabbed and jabbed by zamasu/black, couldn't finish off jiren and needed help, couldn't beat dbs broly and needed to fuse, and loses to vegeta in dbssh.
Honestly, one of my favorite things about Xenoverse is that it’s giving some of the GoDs outside of Beerus a chance to actually do things besides occasionally throw a punch or two and display a technique once in a while. The manga did do this as well, but the majority of those moments aren’t in the anime, and outside of the 3 GoDs who sparred to test the stage, we don’t see too much. Champa and Belmod are among my favorite GoDs, so getting to see them actually take some action and prove that they’re destroyers for a reason is awesome. Champa especially really proves that despite his gut, he’s still highly capable. That, and it’s great that the story makes it clear that while detached, none of the three are horrible people. I really wish that other media like Super would do more with the GoDs like this.
Yep, Fu’s plot control time patrollers even trunks Goku and the supreme KAI of time I’ll be ready for it. I think so besides the holidays are coming up for friends and ❤🎉🎉family like 👍 Christmas.
weird power scaling aside, i REALLY love the characterization in this DLC. It paints beerus and champa in a more responsible light and i like the clash between the gods of destructions on the best path to take forward, champa having the most straight forward but arguably most effective approach, beerus trying to take a more nuanced approach, and belmod being the one having moral qualms. I like this new way of characterizing belmod as caring and it really flips his previous characterization on its head. I like how for once the Gods of destruction also struggled in a fight too instead of constantly moving the threshold for how strong they are to make them seem untouchable. The ending to jiren's arc in this was bittersweet too. I LOVE the cliffhanger they leave with Fu and the pain in his voice and the possibility of him being influenced by his own experiments. Everything about this, the drama, the characterization, etc is rlly good. I wish dragon ball super felt more like this and less...idk how to describe it
What's so weird about the scaling Jiren got powered up by the Ultra Supervillain power and then got even more powerful after absorbing Beerus Hakai energy. Also Beerus and Champa held back most of the time because they didn't want to destroy the universe. This Jiren was a beast and much stronger than how he was during the ToP.
I played the story and I didn't see them struggle at all and a lot of the times they were trying to save Jiren and not destroy him. Also people need to understand Gods of Destruction have unbounded power as stated by Beerus in the manga and the narrative doesn't change regardless if it's anime or manga. Fans should see the Gods of Destruction as they are a moving goalpost.

Beerus is a moving goalpost and the narrative for the overall DB is Gods of Destruction have unbounded power there is no limit to how strong they can get. With the Power of Destruction even in this DLC we see Belmod seems even stronger than previously since he was only around regular full power Jiren's level. Now he does better against an even stronger Jiren and Gods of Destruction have to stay relevant. This is exactly why Ultra Ego was introduced as a technique used by Gods of Destruction to make them stronger. Narrative doesn't change especially when coming from Toriyama drafts and Toyotarou. So my advice start looking at the Gods of Destruction as moving goalpost they are as strong as the story arc they are demands them to be.

The DLC focused characters are all have wonderful characterization beyond what was shown prior show far.

So I always had a theory that xenoverse characters were artificially created people that the time patrollers use to help the timeline and certain races like janemba or super buu aren’t available for our custom characters because they’re inherently evil and they’d cause more harm to the timeline. If a dbxv3 is ever created I hope they explore this concept and have an option where you can create a janemba or bio android to follow the time breakers path rather than the time patrollers similarly to the infamous games. It’d be a cool concept to have our character’s rebel against the patrollers because of the lack of free will due to us having the programming in our heads to “protect the time line”

If Sparking Zero had put in the effort to bless their fan base with epic story mode cutscenes with high quality graphics - as they did for their opening trailer - for epic dragon ball z moments such as Father Son Kamehameha, Super Saiyan Goku, Angry Kamehameha, and the Tournament of Power (Mastered Ultra Instinct) and more, it would have complimented their work.
From the beginning Sparking Zero has focused on its gameplay and not its story. Over time, Sparking Zero will update and release content at the level or greater than Xenoverse.

I don't think any of the GoDs really qualify as heartless, aside from maybe Quitela. Beerus and Champa, while both very petty, have redeeming qualities, especially when they aren't fighting each other. And the majority of the other GoDs have shown that they're at least somewhat pleasant. The only GoD other than Quitela who spends the majority of his time being a prick is Rumsshi, but given he seems to have a pretty good relationship with Gowasu and Cus, evidently he's got something right. We don't see enough Quitela's relationship with his partner deities to judge him there.
While I think it's pretty cool Xenoverse is still getting content for those that are still in it, I felt like I was going brain dead watching these cutscenes. The dialogue in this feels so random compared to other parts of the game and then some stuff just feels like nonsense. Stuff like Champa just going for blowing up the planet or Belmod almost resorting to just killing Jiren meanwhile Goku just had to break the crystal in is chest. I feel like instead of watching unique interactions/what ifs , this just feels like DB heroes where I have NO idea what is even happening. I just hope if there's gonna be more of this that they try to do more instead of just "Alright time for Fuu to give someone a power boost that equals them to a Ultra Ego/Instinct fusion 100x Kaioken" power nonsense

So I have a a prediction that fu is gonna release characters like villains and heroes in conton city prob like frieza with the crystal form cell yamcha for the fun of it fat buu and maybe like trunks the time patroller one and then we try to stop fu cause he’s doing all this in conton city and then like takes everyone’s power he gave and puts it on him making him stronger and he try’s to throw a attack at us and he deflect it and it hits conton city and we’re unconscious and we wake up to that teaser we were in and then chapter 4 we have like a epic boss fight with fu cause he’s getting out of control and he needs to be stopped and we have to stop him cause we been with him since the beginning and (I feel like our cac and fu we’re friends and I feel like fu will think that we are betraying his trust cause we been with him every step of the way) and then fu does t know why he was made and he feels like were against him so we either kill him ir try to save him from his utra crytal meth mode. I don't think any of the GoDs really qualify as heartless, aside from maybe Quitela. Beerus and Champa, while both very petty, have redeeming qualities, especially when they aren't fighting each other. And the majority of the other GoDs have shown that they're at least somewhat pleasant.
The only GoD other than Quitela who spends the majority of his time being a prick is Rumsshi, but given he seems to have a pretty good relationship with Gowasu and Cus, evidently he's got something right. We don't see enough Quitela's relationship with his partner deities to judge him there.

While I think it's pretty cool Xenoverse is still getting content for those that are still in it, I felt like I was going brain dead watching these cutscenes. The dialogue in this feels so random compared to other parts of the game and then some stuff just feels like nonsense.
Stuff like Champa just going for blowing up the planet or Belmod almost resorting to just killing Jiren meanwhile Goku just had to break the crystal in is chest. I feel like instead of watching unique interactions/what ifs , this just feels like DB heroes where I have NO idea what is even happening.
I just hope if there's gonna be more of this that they try to do more instead of just "Alright time for Fuu to give someone a power boost that equals them to a Ultra Ego/Instinct fusion 100x Kaioken" power nonsense

So in xenoverse 3 we would fight our character from Xenoverse 1, our character from Xenoverse 2 as well as other peoples characters from those games, along with Villains like Slug, Turles, Cooler, Broly, Hatchiyak, Janemba etc
While still teaming up with Future Trunks and Supreme Kai of Time to stop Fuu from creating the Universe Tree.
