Great video Adam, it's always great to be reunited with an old car. It's great listening to pauls stories his Yorkshire accent makes it, lol. Ive noticed that RS500 has a Worcestershire registration on it. It would be interesting if it was originally supplied by Brooklyn Ford in Redditch, who were an RS accredited dealer. My Capri 2.0S was supplied by them. 👍

Hi Adam great video with Paul again. Southern Ireland is 95 0ctane E10 only we dont have any lower Ron. Northen Ireland has 95 and 97.
In southern Ireland we can buy race fuel from specialist and anyone running high HP uses that or adds pro boost or eqv but pump fuel is asking for trouble with big boost.

Also, those Tockford badges were standard on the Aussie XR6's and XR8's, can still buy them new through Ford

The RON in Southern Ireland has always been 95 they don’t do the higher RON stuff anymore on in Northern Ireland

Love the channel and not a hater in the slightest but that guy is living in the stone ages he should run the borgwarner turbo charger as it will preform far better than an ancient t4 turbo and as for fuel quality just use methanol injection as a octane booster problem solved

Sometimes a car just fits the build, character and it’s own personality and for me this exudes that, my best mates dad had a mallard green Gartrac Mk4 Escort 360bhp RWD and not wide arched it just looked like and rs turbo from the outside and that car also was like that, it had personality and character. RIP

I wonder if Mark is the same Mark who bought my Focus ST back in 2010? Mine was pretty much like an RS as I had it modified and tuned from new, so was as fast as a brand new RS for 10k less. He flew over twice from Ireland (once to view and then collect) and had loads of nice cars and bikes.

i’ve got some 345mm disks on order for my 17” lenso’s - used a slim calliper for clearance
The white lock shield is a Kilteck lock shield designed to stop the barrel being pulled out and protecting the ignition wiring also, they were invented by a bloke from North shields in the 90s

A mate at a Renault garage does MOTs, dodgy reg plates are taken off outside by the owners usually, then popped back on after the test.😉
I could listen to Paul talk about Cossies until the cows come home. Tbh, I was never much if a Cossie man, but since following your channel (and later following Paul's), they've really grown on me purely for the nostalgia factor.
Regarding the 90 ron fuel, can you not run a fuel flex sensor? I know people generally run them for ethanol (running more boost), but I'm wondering if it could be used at the other end of the spectrum.
I know a guy who bought the rs500 given to blonquist, he didn’t want it as not lhd, it came with a monster tune on it Ford said would take off later, he got the software copied by one of the big tuners, he went through four engines in warranty

I live in Portugal and its not easy to have a cossie here. Not alot of support or spare parts and getting stuff from the UK its very expensive.

Check the small pipe on water pump did my dad saph 4x4 cossie had same issues after doing head gasket pulled wp off one the outlet was blocked of corrosion that pipe recalculate the water to header tank to wich it wasn't doing before new pump sorted
