Unless daddy's money and contacts is able to support you and your dream, a fine arts degree isnt the smartest choice. Go for a computer science degree its more universal, a safer bet, and with the age a technology everyone is looking for people can code and knows how to properly work a computer even those animators and film makers

A little update for you guys on this indiegogo project, they changed the name of the project from Moratorium to “FIND YOUR PATH”. They had promised a trailer on Monday, May 23rd 2016 which was on one of their updates (the trailer was not released, big surprise.) They followed up with an updated in December 2017 and uploaded a trailer of the documentary on Vimeo (for some reason they use Vimeo instead of TH-cam), I watched it and thought it was mediocre. And last but not least they promised to release the movie in June 2018, it is January of 2019 currently and the movie is yet to be released, I’ve checked online for it and it’s nowhere to be found. Aka this was just a cash grab, gg.

So far, we have formally interviewed 21 people across the world about what they think it means to be successful. It expands out to the hundreds more that have come into our lives and added to the topic of conversation. Re-reading our journals, it is very interesting to see how our ideas have morphed with time and experience. We look back on these interviews with fresh perspectives, hearing the conversations differently than we did a year ago. And what has not changed is the importance of the topic: success. By listening to other people’s stories, experiences and stances on success, we all are able to continue redefining what it means in our own lives. We promise to bring to you a piece of art that showcases what we have learned thus far in the best way we know how.
We are currently working a trailer for our film. Our trailer will showcase our project to the world and give you all a first hand look into the stories of the people we met, places we went, and ultimately explore the idea of success. We will also use our trailer to send to some high profile individuals in North America that will increase our platform and variety of subjects in our film. A little update for you guys on this indiegogo project, they changed the name of the project from Moratorium to “FIND YOUR PATH”.
They had promised a trailer on Monday, May 23rd 2016 which was on one of their updates (the trailer was not released, big surprise.)
They followed up with an updated in December 2017 and uploaded a trailer of the documentary on Vimeo (for some reason they use Vimeo instead of TH-cam), I watched it and thought it was mediocre.
And last but not least they promised to release the movie in June 2018, it is January of 2019 currently and the movie is yet to be released, I’ve checked online for it and it’s nowhere to be found.
Aka this was just a cash grab, gg.
I think everyone who funded that project is fully aware of that and moved on (hopefully).

I'm a recent university graduate, and I 100% agree with you. The point isn't to work it out afterwards, the whole point of a degree is that you get the degree to further some goal (mainly to get a job). The point of a degree is not just to get a degree for the sake of getting a degree. That is a watse of time and money.
