I feel Nick Fury should be much higher. That was THE end credits scene, the one that's set up an entire universe, one that's still going strong seven years later.

the last one is really good, and intresting thing: thanos smiled so creepy when the other guy said "death", why? because in marvel universe death has actually a physical form, it's a woman that thanos is in love with... this is some deep shit
The question is who owns the rights to "death"? Death is also associated with DEADPOOL. And is pretty much why Deadpool can't die. Thanos cursed him with eternal life so he couldn't see death. So who gets Death?
What do you mean? Like who has the most important role with death? I think It might be thanos because of him being involved with the MCU. Deadpool though can't die because he fell in love with death and thanos didn't like that so he cursed him. Not including Deadpool would pretty much ruin the whole reason why he can't die.

I didn't but I've seen all the cutscenes. I saw the jokes but I didn't hear the long sword one. I would've bought the game but the gameplay wasn't going with me considering that it looked kinda bad and that they recycled pretty much everything.

It's alright they always end up on TH-cam anyway. It's how I saw most of them.
Also be grateful you didn't watch movies in the 80s and early 90s before the internet so you never knew if the movie would have one, eventhough most of them never became anything (Master of the Universe for one).
No one was excited for the Deadpool one because they absolutely destroyed deadpool in that movie.
Actually they didn't deadpool was a pretty good character in that movie problem is the rest of the movie sucks and he can only speak for 5 minutes

Aww my favorite didn't even make it. My favorite was in The Wolverine, where Logan is at the airport. There is a foreshadowing of Days of Future Past, Magneto tracks him down but most importantly... Professor X who we all thought was dead makes his first appearance. I got super excited when I saw Professor X rolling through the frozen crowd.

my absolute favorite has to be from the Iron Giant. it was so sad to find that the iron giant was killed, then you see him being reassembled over the expanse of one of the earth's poles.

well, most end credits for marvel movies aren't easter eggs. just preludes for upcoming movies. the Iron Giant ending served both as a happy ending and a prelude to a sequel that never came.

Their talking about the movie watchers that didn't know who Thanos was so they googled him and acted like they knew who he was.
The MCU is such a huge community of Comic book fans and non-Comic book fans alike and the Avengers brought fans from all 4 movies into one. So when a new character was introduced that did not originate from movies or common knowledge of the movie. Of course people googled and pretended to know. But Comic Book fans are not the only people who watch the movies. (which is why they make so much damn money)

Chris Deleo Well what happened in that movie wasn't relevant to the overall X-Men plot, and Days of Future Past made it to where the events in that film didn't happen so it's no longer canon at least in my opinion.

I think me and my boyfriend pissed off a few people at the theater when we watched The Wolverine's end credits for how excited we got XD Yeah, it should have been somewhere in this list.
TBF, it's not altogether different from the hint that The Last Stand's end credits scene had. In that the big reveal is Xavier being alive. Otherwise, I would have had it in this list.

The Iron Man post-credits scene really did serve a serious purpose, but you gotta admit it was funny seeing Samuel L Jackson showing up out of nowhere and Tony going "Who the hell are you?"
Good, meaningful list. Years ago there was a film "Young Sherlock" about Holmes and Watson as boys. Their nemesis is a teacher Holmes admires at his public school. After the fiery end before the credits rolled, and after the credits, this nemesis reappears signing into some distant hotel. He writes his name (naturally) as "Moriarty".
Nick Fury's scene should have been way higher. That was the scene that introduced us to the idea of actually getting an Avengers film.

I love after credits scenes, and Marvel really perfected it. I love how theirs give insight into future movies (well most of them, I loved GOTG but was very disappointed by the Howard the Duck after credits scene) and you always go into them knowing there will be one. I think Nick Fury being in Iron Man should be way higher than number ten smh, that was history and set up the kickass MCU we have today (and that everyone is trying to copy) I think X Men DOFP's scene with Apocalyse should be on here. lol I didn't know who the purple guy at the end of Avengers was either when I first saw it in theaters, had to go home and look it up lol.

My favorite was Mickey Rourke in 'Angel Heart' when he was going down that elevator while the credits rolled. Everybody in the theater just stood and watched and waited to see what was going to happened when the elevator stopped and the doors opened.
I hope in the deadpool movie that he starts out like he did in origins and is really irritated by it so he restarts the movie
The Grey, such an underrated movie
It's a very depressing movie that makes you not tell it to other people to watch. It's like, "You want to feel dead inside and lose the will to live? Watch this movie!" Also, I feel robbed about the ending as shown in the trailers.
Never watch the trailers, I just look at the rating and genre. Trailers are only for movies where I am a great fan like star wars and the Hobbit etc
My favourite came from 1986, and it's still bloody funny - Ferris Beuller's Day Off. Ferris is shambling down his hallway, and notices the post-credit audience still watching.

Ferris also popped into John Hughes's She's Having A Baby, putting a name for the new bambino. Ferris' suggestion was
simply, "Jim!", still in the hallway where we were last stalking him. I still think "Jim" was a great choice.

Guardians are a possibility, but unlikely considering they finished principal photography on Avengers 2 before Guardians of the Galaxy blew up the theaters and it was a long shot, so they weren't going to bank on it. The rights to X-Men as far as live action cinematic movies are concerned are currently licensed by Fox, and the rights to Spiderman are currently licensed to Sony, so there will be no crossovers there unless either party defaults on their contract and allows the license to expire.

Uh no. Most of those movies you named didn't even originate from Games. Spiderman 2, King Kong(loved that game), goldeneye, Alien isolation and Star Wars were based off of the MOVIES not a "game". Lord of the rings was a book. And Tron was poorly received. I can't say I loved it or hated it but it still wasn't really that good to be honest. Scott Pilgrim is pretty much the only good one.

For a very early one, Young Sherlock Holmes, directed by Spielberg. Great ending after the credits with the former teacher (now known to be the villain) turning up after his apparent death and signing the registry "Moriarty" as he turns his face toward the caretaker of the small inn. Was a superb ending after the credits were all done!
