fun fact about number 1: The guy who played Indie wasn't feeling good the day the scene was filmed. It was originally suppose to be a serious fight but because he wasn't feeling good, he just decided to end it quickly and use his gun. The director liked it so much, he kept it.

The "enemy" did his sword spins and Indie was supposed to disarm him in an epic way. But Harrison was so sick he made it obvious he was going for his gun(que'ing the villain's actor) and shot, so the "enemy" actor acted like he was shot.
It was so good they kept it and it became such an awesome scene lol.

So fun fact: the gun vs sword scene in Indiana Jones was unscripted. Indy was supposed to have a cool whip vs sword fight with the guy, but since they were filming in exotic locations, pretty much everyone caught diarrhoea, including Harrison Ford, who definitely didn't want to have do a fight scene with this problem.

True Lies is more a action comedy than action movie.
The whole "Put the bunny down" scene from Con Air should have been on this list. Insane tension, yet just plain funny.
Hulk isn't the strongest member of the Avengers, that would be Thor.
In terms of strength hulk is the strongest. Thor is just the most powerful avenger, which he could defeat all of them.

splewy Well i don't watch every video, i don't read every post they write, so i may not know everything. Some of source videos are more than 480p so it wouldn't hurt to render at least in 720p, as high quality materia would look better, and 480p material wouldn't look worse.

Now, there's nothing necessarily wrong with comedic moments, but I do often wish that some films could take themselves a bit more seriously. Most of these examples are fine, and stuff like Tarantino or Indiana Jones you don't expect to be totally serious or anything, but there's a fine line.
For me, the Marvel films are pretty good examples. They just go a bit too far in the comedic direction sometimes. And yes, I know people absolutely love them, pretty much for just that reason. But I see so much potential there for more interesting stories and characters. I guess this is why I much prefer Watchmen to any Marvel film: in terms of tone, I thought Watchmen struck a much better balance between character, plot and seriousness.
There's a reason why the laughing face and the crying face are a symbol of theater. It symbolizes the balance a writer should strive for to obtain good theater (or movie/TV show/anime/what have you as the case may be). The only way you can cast a shadow is with some light; the same is true for drama and comedy. Comedic moments make the dramatic moments more dramatic and dramatic moments bring more laughs to the comedy.
Fiction isn't a one color painting; you have to use all the emotions in the spectrum to make something truly masterful.
You have to have comedy here and there or else the whole thing can seem very monotonous. Even something like Les Miserables has a Master of the House in all of that depression and tragedy.

Leminader But aren't marvel movies based (even loosely based) on comics which are renowned for their one liners and quotable punchlines? I think they're supposed to have that comical feel BECAUSE they are based on comics!

Fun Fact: the #1 iconic indiana jones scene wasn't scripted. Indi was supposed to actually duel the scimitar guy through elaborate stunts etc but Harrison Ford had been sick that day and just couldn't keep up, so he figured hell, my character has a gun, why would he bother, so he just shot the guy and everybody went along. Hollywood magic at its finest.

The ending of Rambo III when John Rambo and Col Trautman are standing alone against the entire enemy army. Their interactions are hilarious.

Numb Tongue is my fave shown. Trek 2009 was a beautiful mix of everything. Action, comedy, class. Theres tons in movies Im sure I can't recall and some very good ones throughout Guardians of The Galaxy like Rocket's 'bed head', Drax's literalness explained, Groot's 'whiplash', etc.

Don't know if it qualifies as action-adventure, more sci-fi, but my favorite is from Star Trek Generations. The Enterprise D is going down, it's all very tense and dramatic, then Data looks up from his console, stares at the main viewing screen, and says, "Oh, shit!" Perfect line, perfect timing, from the absolute perfect character.
